Social Chair: This year Meghan has willing taken this position because of unforchant cercomstances. One of her biggest issue was finding locations for the mixers because of the new policy changes. For next semester I will make it my goal for them to not feel like everything is on their shoulders. I want this chair to know that I am here to help in anyway shape or form because I know new policy changes are tough for people to understand.
Risk Management: This is a very important chair because they are liable for all the sisters that go out to Delta Zeta functions like mixers. This year this Caitlyn has taken a lot of unnecessary heat for social media with the new national policy changes and I think that for next semester the sisters should

I saw how much hard work they have to do by the things in chapter by examine every girl as well as planning inanition. I think that girls should know more about our traditions and how Delta Zeta came to be so I will help her plan practice session with the chapter so everyone will understand the importance of our …show more content…
Publicity: I fill like this chair need to be put on a high pedestal. This chair is how we get our face known to the PNMs and also to other who may not know about Delta Zeta. I think social media is a key part in growing the name of DZ in a positive light by showing people everything that we do for our chapter.
Housing:
This year filling the suites has been an impossible task. I think we did a good job of handling the situation we were placed in but I think this semester it would be good for this chair to show member and especially new members the get benefits from living in the suite and really making it very positive. It even might be cool to do a fundraiser to get new decorations for the girls living there to make it more appealing.
Apparel:
Morgan has made some great t-shirts this year! I know she and I worked close together to make sisterhood and thanksgiving shirts and I really like to see the person who takes over the position next semester really do the same because I think teamwork really helps with trying to please everyone.
I am seeking membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated to be a part of a sisterhood that leads and serves. I would love to join a sisterhood that serves the community, promotes academic achievement and builds self-esteem in students of all walks of life from primary to adulthood. In addition, I wish to expand my public service through educational development. As an educator, serving children and families through toy drives and youth mentorships would afford me countless opportunities to give back beyond the walls of my classroom, dance stage, and church. With my dedication, compassion, and creativity, I know I will work diligently to produce a strong impact on the sorority’s current programs and aid to create new
Women of Delta, especially the ladies of the Alpha Tau Chapter, excel excessively in everything they accomplish and partake in from what I have seen on Southern Universities campus and in the community. Their outstanding work ethics, academics success, social friendliness, dominating attitudes, and constant need to help others is just a few explanations why I would be honored to be a lovely member of ...
In conclusion, Kappa Delta is the best sorority on our campus. We are proud of our history and our commitment to helping others. Our philanthropies mean everything to us. We try our best to help better serve them and their cause. We try our best to uphold our values that will benefit us throughout our lives. Being confident is the best feeling in the world. When I joined Kappa Delta, I was a shy and awkward teenage girl. Now that I have been in the sorority for some time I have become a strong, independent, and self-assured woman. These ladies have supported me through all my tough and hard times. No matter what happens in life I know that they will be there for me. Kappa Delta will always be home for me!
The PanHellenic Building houses every Greek Life sorority that is currently on Baylor’s campus. This building was donated by Stacy Riddle and required a $5.5 million budget. The building is a two-story, 51,000-square-foot building contains nine sorority suites/meeting rooms, a computer lab available to all students, a chapel and prayer room, a Panhellenic office and an apartment for the resident manager (Baylor.edu). However, there are no rooms that are set apart solely for a fraternity member. This building allows the sorority and its members to have a place to meet and have their activities. Yet, if you look around campus you do not see a building or even a single room that is that for the fraternity members. The fraternity members must have their meetings either off campus or find an empty classroom in some building and hope that a class does not come in and kick you out half way through your meeting. When ...
Everyone took their roles very serious, which was the fun part to me. When doing a project like this you want everyone being as serious as possible and playing their role as it should be. Logan Diehl (mayor) really set the stimulation when he stepped up to the podium in his suit to give an overview of the meeting and call the meeting to order. Another aspect of the stimulation I enjoyed and thought it brought realistic vibes was when the city council representatives which included myself introduced themselves and stated what ward they represented before asking their
Day in and day out we hear about high school and college students wanting to pursue a sorority and/or a fraternity based on the stereotypes these organizations uphold, well I chose to differ. I told myself if I ever decided to become a member of a sorority it would be based solely on their ethical standards, history, and values they are founded upon. Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated consists of ladies of distinction and exemplary character who excel in scholarship, leadership, and service, which are qualities I have chosen to uphold. From my perspective, I encourage myself to maintain a respectable appearance and reputation which doing so inspires me to embrace my self-concept; which helps me confidently excel academically and professionally as a “lady of distinction” and “exemplary character.” Most importantly, I continuously remain involved in community service, being involved allows me the opportunity to learn and understand the lives and circumstances of others by opening my mind, heart, and soul. Overall these qualities strengthen my passion to be a member of the prestigious Alp...
The founders paved the way for future sorority members to take into heed and have an example of what to go by. The Women’s Suffrage is one of the many struggles the founders had to face. To face a problem within your community of this magnitude shows not only Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated strength, but how diligent the founders were. The founders of this sorority believed in a cause and stressed the importance of overcoming the barrier that was set before them. There are sorority members who continue to surpass and help solve the struggles within our community, such as getting our young people to vote and making sure African Americans are aware of their HIV status. These contributions say more about the women of this sorority than any other. This sorority is very diligent regarding the various events that they host. Time, quality, and effort are the traits I notice in the events that I have attended. The positive actions that the members of this sorority continue to produce, does not go unnoticed. The time and conscientiousness that these Delta women put in gives me great knowledge on how I should portray myself at all times as a future Delta woman. I aspire to be a member of a sorority that is fully committed in the sisterhood, community service, as well as being diligent leader in the sorority as well as outside the sorority. I aspire to be a member of the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
The mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, promote unity and genuine friendships among college women, aid in issues concerning girls and women in order to come up with solutions to eliminate or ease the circumstances they may face, maintain an ongoing interest in college life, while also being of service to all mankind. This sorority has not only empowered women to help others, but it
The social workers in both videos gathered information regarding each of the client’s issues. Another common denominator in both videos is that both of the social workers repeated what the client had said in their own words to allow the client to feel heard and understood. In the first video, social worker Karen asked direct questions relating to Mike’s alcohol addiction while also addressing how the addiction impacts his relationships including his marriage. Karen also addressed inconsistencies with the client doing so appropriately and quickly. It appears that in the first video, Karen focuses on the reality of the issue at hand to assist the client with establishing and accepting
The purpose of this letter is to inform you about my interest in becoming a member of The Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I sought out membership because the members exemplify the epitome of class, grace, and standards. My desire is to inspire young girls and women and make a significant impact on their lives is just one of many reasons I aspire to join your great sorority. I believe in being of service, giving back to the community, and I want to continue on for years to come. Going into the transition into my college career from my freshman year until now, I have encountered many women in the organization that are very active on campus as well as in the community. My past experiences with my past and previous organizations have proved that once my feet are planted my roots will grow and I will stand firm in an organization or committee that I am apart of exemplifying my leadership skills. I am a dedicated member of the National Council of Negro Women. I am on the Bethune Committee, we focus on creating Health programs for the organization and the community. I am a Mentor with the Valdosta community organization G.O.L.F.E.R. (Generating Opportunities in Life for Each
The main goal of the event was to have the opportunity to meet other interests on campus from a sorority. They had the opportunity to do this with the eight of the Beta Phi Interests and four interests from the group Luis, Gilbert, Jessie, and Omar. They set up and participated in different activities to get to know more about each other in forms of icebreaker games. The first activity was to get into two separate lines facing each other, then someone asked a question where everyone then had the opportunity to answered the question with whoever they were face to face with. Every time before a question was asked they moved down the line in order to have the opportunity to interact with everyone. Another activity was that they were divided into
In conclusion, I believe that I can offer a wealth of expertise and experience in contributing towards the continued development of a cohesive, dynamic and collaborative school that focuses on offering outstanding world class learning opportunities for all. I consider myself to be a good role model to students and staff alike and I am committed to leading by example. This, combined with my drive, infectious optimism and commitment to playing a full role within the school beyond those duties set out, make me a strong candidate for the post.

It will be an honor for me to reach out to our Israel Engagement Chairs and ask them to hold a viewing for pledges and Brothers. There are two ways I can do this.
My gratitude also goes to Ms. Camille Ziegler, Responsible for MICAI’s Administration, for her constant availability and assistance.
