Without a second thought soccer is a valuable treasure. Soccer inspires people to work hard for their personal goals in life. When someone is playing the game for the first time they will know from that moment in time this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. For some people they might not agree. They might think that it is trash and not something that should be a treasure. Whether they are four, six, or thirty years old they think it is a waste of time or a useless sport. Some people will just not value soccer the way other people do.
People that treasure soccer, work hard to achieve the goals they have set for themselves or their team. Working hard at practice or just playing street soccer it doesn't change what you treasure. You could be the best soccer player in the world or the worst you are going to still challenge yourself to try your best for yourself

They might not have never have played before. When people say soccer is trash, they might not enjoy playing the sport or have not played it at all. It is okay to disagree but you need to have reason. One reason you might not like soccer is, its an active sport. You have to play outside train for many hours a week, and it’s also a contacksport. Which means its a physical game. Many people don't like that, so this wouldn't be the sport for them. Also people don’t like the violence of soccer. For example when players fight, refs and parents, coaches and refs, player and refs, player and coach, player and team mate. The list could go on forever. Some parents don't want their children to be in that mess, so they don't sign them up for soccer from the very beginning. Sometimes it’s the parents fault that the child doesn't treausre soccer. It could also be the other way around. It doesn't matter how old you are or how young you are you could think soccer is a waste, not worth it, or something that shouldn’t be treasured at
I remember my dad always watching soccer news every night before going to bed. All my family loves soccer, we have this tradition that when a Mexican team plays we all get together to watch the game at my mom’s house. I think that’s what makes me love soccer as much as I do. Playing soccer also helps me to relax and to be confident when I have stress or after a long day at work. It's not just about kicking the ball or scoring
Abstract: Youth Soccer has recently evolved into a fiercely competitive arena. More and more children are leaving recreational leagues to play in highly competitive select leagues. While select sports are a valuable resource where children can learn how to socialize and become self-motivated, children who start at young ages, ten and eleven, can suffer psychological and physical damage. A child's youth sporting experience is directly influenced by the attitudes, sportsmanship and behavior of their parents and coaches.
From an early age I always knew I would be playing soccer my whole life. My dad showed me the ropes of how to play and got me interested right away. By the age of three I had started playing, and to this day I have not stopped. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and I don’t know where I would be today if I never played. I met some amazing people playing soccer including my coaches who encouraged me and told me never to give up as well as my teammates who became my friends and were always there for me.
I started playing soccer when I was four years old. At the time I had a lot of problems. To name a few, I was bad at working with others, I was a sore loser, and I did not handle pain or disappointment well. When I started to play soccer I had a low self esteem and was terribly shy. Going up and talking to people was not on my list of things to do. This made it pretty hard for me to fit in with all the other kids and make friends. It was hard to enjoy playing soccer when I felt as though I had no friends on the team. My parents noticed my dislike in the sport, but urged me to keep playing anyway.

I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.

While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I believe that people are often far from the truth about soccer. One reason soccer receives hate is because people believe that it’s a sport for wimps, however, this isn’t the case. There may not be bone crushing tackles like in American football, or huge body checks like in hockey, but soccer is a very physical sport in other ways. For one, if two players are running for the ball, there will often be a lot of pushing and shoving for possession. It’s also very risky, and dangerous, especially when defending. when going in for a tackle, or sliding tackle, you risk bad leg and / or ankle injuries from getting stepped on or going over on your ankle. Soccer also takes a high amount of stamina as

I was always taught that soccer was to be about the love of the game and that it should be fun. Unfortunately, I faced many obstacles that I needed to overcome before I could truly love the game for what it was worth. I grew and continued to love the game, knowing little at the time of the obstacles I would be faced with, and would need to overcome. My struggles with soccer began early in my life. I was an average player, who had a drive to succeed and go far.
In Lisa Strick essay, “So What’s so bad about Being So-So? Lisa talks about our competitive nature and the need to be the best. Sometimes competition gets in the way of us being able to following through on a hobby, sport or activity without being given the side eye because we aren’t great that activity. Stick feels as though she let her son down because she didn’t start him in soccer at an early age like the other kids. She states, “ I’m sorry, son, I guess I blew it” (p. 204). She states this after the other kids made fun of her own son; “We don’t want that dodo on our soccer team… He doesn’t know a goal kick from a head shot” (p.204). Kids can be ruthless and not care what they say. Hearing someone say that we suck can make you not want to continue to try.
There is hardly any American kid that doesn’t watch or play soccer in this era. But despite its tremendous popularity, the brutal nature of the game has made many parents reluctant to let their children participate in this game. Though most of the people still watch matches on television, the soccer world is getting deprived of youth players day by day. In contrast, interest in basketball has been growing and this sport is on the verge of becoming America’s favorite in the next few years.
Sports are often a hobby because it brings individuals along its exciting and fun. A soccer supporter can
