Natalie Bassingthwaighte, 34, host of Channel 10's So You Think You Can Dance, talks with Kate Minogue about being pregnant, her wellbeing and her plans for the future as she moves into the next phase of her life. At the moment I love being pregnant. Apart from being tired, I love how my body is changing, it's bizarre. The baby is due at the end of August and, although I'm having little naps all the time, this is the best I have ever felt. I'm definitely more in touch with myself and I feel like this is exactly where I'm supposed to be. Everything is slotting into place. I spent two months in LA last year. I worked on building contacts and doing acting workshops and dipping my toes into that world but, mostly, it was a brilliant time to think …show more content…
I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant, but I'm loving the bonds that the dancers have this year. It's always special, but from the very beginning the dancers had so much enthusiasm and it's beautiful to be around. Their courage is inspiring. I'm fortunate I get to go on the journey with them. I have a new appreciation for women who are working and pregnant I feel like I'm part of a club now. I'm lucky I'm only working three days a week, but they are 10- to 14-hour days and I'm wearing those big high heels. It takes me almost a day-and-a-half to get over working! I was extremely tired and I did have morning sickness in the first trimester, like most women, but I'm starting to get a bit more energy now. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I went overboard and got rid of all my skin and hair products with chemicals in them. I'm back to using most things now, but I'm still cautious about what I eat. I have always been a healthy eater and I have never really dieted or been strict on myself as far as that goes. I know what my body needs and, I've always thought, 'what I put into it is what I get out of it'. It's a holistic approach – the mind-body connection is really important to me. But in the first trimester I could only manage to eat things like toast with Vegemite and lots of
The Day of the Dead or Dia de Los Muertos, is an ancient festivity that has been transformed throughout the years, and was originated in Mexico. But now these celebrations occur in many countries: South America, Europe, Asia, and various states of the United States. Billie Holiday, or as her friends called her “Lady Day” was an African-American jazz singer who had a phenomenal voice. She was born April 7, 1915, in Philadelphia, PA. She was known for her trademark of wearing gardenias in her hair, and throwing back her head when she sang. In her late teenage years she was discovered by John Hammond and recorded her first record led by a studio group under Benny Goodman, who was a prominent figure in the entertainment business.
Cheerleading isn’t a sport. Loads of cheerleaders have faced this controversial statement. An image of peppy girls, twirling in short skirts for the football team fills most people’s minds when considering the topic of cheerleading. The truth is, we are a strong team that works together to lift each other up, literally. Although we work day in and day out to perfect our stunts, tumbling, and routines, our talent still goes unnoticed by our peers. Negative stereotypes often surround cheerleaders. In my high school, we constantly battle to gain the respect of our classmates not just as athletes, but even simply as people. Some of the most involved and highest ranked students in our school make up our cheerleading squad, but those traits are forgotten
Cheerleading Have you ever just saw this one sport where you are just dying to try. Or you just want to spend the rest of your life doing? Well I have. And for me, that sport is cheerleading The inventors of the amazing sport of cheerleading are Thomas Peeble and Johnny Campbell. I thank these people every single day for inventing this amazing sport because they invented my absolute passion.
I know that cheerleading is a sport. Have you ever got asked if you think that cheerleading is a sport or not. That is what I am going to tell you today. Cheerleading is just like football and basketball it is a game where you compete and get points. But with cheerleading it is not about throwing the ball accost a field or making a basket. It is about how well it is performed. To do good they have to prates a lot and they also have to have a lot of upper body mussel.

There is no arguing Walt Disney practiced what he preached. In fact, he did what he did so well that people continue to bring others to see what he did to this day, that being Disneyland. First, we’ll start by learning about the background history of Disneyland. Next, we’ll compare Disneyland from when it first started to what it has developed into. And finally, we’ll explore all the eight parks and what they have to offer.
Now, you may all know Angelica Pickles as the 3 year that tormented the Rugrats. The one that manipulated them into believing her version of reality and stole their things to make them upset. What if I were to tell you that isn’t true? What if I were to tell you that she wasn’t actually manipulating them and taking their things, but she was being a nice cousin and friend? She didn’t manipulate anyone, she was finally happy that someone was listening to her. Angelica Pickles didn’t steal anything. She was playing with the babies toys, and they got upset because she didn’t ask.
I would plan my meals out for the day and place them in the system and see what my outcome would be before I cook or prepare them from me and my son. I also tied to bake a lot of my foods and not fry them. I eliminated a lot of salts and sodium from my diet as will. The food tracker counts everything! I made to sure not to substitute to many to snacks to replace my craving of bread. Me and my son came up with fun things to eat like the old school peanut butter and celery with raisins for snacks. On the third day we actually ate nothing but veggies for dinner like asparagus, corn, and sliced Irish potatoes. The meal was very different but for my son to like it I was shocked. I even

Is dance a sport or not? Some people in our world today consider dance just to be all frilly and fragile. Dance takes time, effort, determination and impeccable strength. I believe that dance is a sport because it has the same components as any other sport. In any other sport you need to work hard with a lot of effort, and that is exactly what dancers do. For example, most beginning dancers practice between five to ten hours a week. Although most people in our world today look at dancing as nothing more than tutus and twirling, a good dancer must have a mind mentally engaged, a body able to endure physical challenges, and toned dedication and skill.
