Although many disagree, smoking in Lebanon is a dangerous issue causing hundreds of deaths and should be outlawed.
Smoking in Lebanon should be forbidden in all its forms and in all public and private places. Smoking causes many respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
These respiratory diseases are not easily treated and sometimes lead to immediate deaths.
Moreover, smoking increases the risk of high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, heart attacks, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
