Recommended: An essay on entrepreneurship

According to the site Small Business Notes (n.d), people can learn a lot about innovative ways to start and run a business by looking at what our predecessors have done. Business as it operates today was founded on the backs of numerous entrepreneurs who took the first steps in developing new products, in trying new ways of doing things, and in exploring new realms.
The literature of small businesses would not be complete without stories. Starting and operating a small business is more a culture where stories are handed down, passing on wisdom from generation to generation. And these stories can serve as a guideposts as well as being an inspiration.
Small business entrepreneurs have been breaking new ground for many centuries. From the earliest inventors and explorers, entrepreneurs have been seeking new paths and new solutions for the world of business. Entrepreneurism started as early as by Horace in ancient Rome and was certainly practiced by the Italian traders in late medieval Italy. The real rise of the commercial entrepreneur began, however, with the industrial revolution.
In the history of business there have been many people who have made an impact on the world of business as it is today. Not all have been corporate giants, but they have exhibited leadership in their field in some significant way. These are our real business heroes - our role models - our mentors indirectly through their stories. Some noted business leaders are Francis Bacon, Eric Hoffer, Thomas Edison, Adam Smith and a whole lot more (Realms, 1997).

Wholesale is a business in where they distribute products to other type of establishments and the establishments are going sell it to different customers. Wholesale businesses often distribute their good to the retail business.

Service is different to retail and in wholesale because in wholesale and retail they offer goods. In service, establishment do not offer goods they offer services like salon service, law services and etc.

2.2.4 Manufacturing
Manufacturers are often called converters because they change and convert raw materials to a product.

2.2.5 Transportation
Transportation is a big help in our daily life it helps people travel one place to another. It is categorized as trucking, air, water or pipeline.

2.2.6 Construction
In construction workers built or do things. They are the one’s doing the road and built the house.
