SCARY NIGHT I’m watching the Sixth Sense with my two brothers Nathan and Danny. I’m so excited because I’m finally old enough to watch it. I just turned 13. Danny, my younger brother is still trying to scare me though. It’s a great movie. I wanted to see it for a while now. Mom is in the kitchen making popcorn. Then all of a sudden, oh god, the lights, the lights, they are, they are acting weird. Why are they flickering? “Why, why are the lights going on and off like that?” I ask. “Ooooooo! Maybe it is the ghost of the lady who died here before we moved in. mwaha-ha, ha!”Danny says. “Stop it, or I’m going to tell mommy on you.” “Oh are you scared Amy?” “Mommy mommy! Danny is scaring me!” ‘Dan what are you doing trying to scare her like that?”
Only one light is on, making it appear more dull and lifeless, as if the hall continues on forever. The use of the handheld camera, provides shakiness to the scene therefore complementing the trembling voices being heard. The camera then continues to pan through the high school. As the archived emergency call changes to a panicked teacher, so does the footage. We now see what the CCTV surveillance cameras captured, again strengthening the authenticity of the event.
Do you remember the first time, that you saw the movie The Sixth Sense in the late 1990's? The movie that caused all of us to wonder if we possessed a sixth sense like Cole had growing up as a child. His big dark secret caused chills to rise on our skin. To give a brief recap of the movie The Sixth Sense, Dr. Malcolm was a child psychologist that was determined to help Cole Sear, who was a child that had
The Sixth Sense, directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan, follows the troubled life of eight-year-old Cole Sear, played by Haley Joel Osment, who is haunted by his supernatural abilities to see and communicate with the dead. Being sought after by the disturbed spirits of his hometown of Philadelphia, Cole must reconcile this frightening power with his desperate desire to be normal. Growing more isolated from his helpless mother and distrustful of his peers in school, Cole soon encounters child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crow (Bruce Willis), who is led by obsessive ambitions, although weakened by the thought of his neglected wife. Still, Malcolm represents the only hope for dissolving the horror and restoring sanity.
The Sixth sense is a captivating film full of misdirection and illusion as malcolm and co partner cole work together to un compas a twisted plot. Malcolm Crowe a renowned pediatric psychologist in philadelphia makes it his priority to help the young boy cole because he sees some of the same symptoms of a previous patient he couldn't help. Cole retains a secrete that he is reluctant to tell malcolm because he is afraid he won't believe him and think he is a “freak”. Malcolm devotes his life to helping this little boy when in reality he is helping himself come to reality which in his case is not reality. The director M.Night Shyamalan devices the viewers and leaves them to believe things that aren't real using lighting camera angle and shots.
Throughout this film there was barely any light at all. It was pretty much pitch black dark all throughout this film, with the main light coming from the flickering lantern inside of the tent. The darkness of the night was making it quite difficult to see what was going on sometimes which was making the film more mysterious in some ways. Apart from the flickering lantern there was only one other light amongst the darkness which also seemed to be what the characters were trying to escape from, which brought both mystery and confusion to the

“Ha! More like a canceled stamp if you ask me.” I responded, stopping at the circular balcony, the only partially quiet place in the whole house. The house that was already full, despite the early hour of
Analyze the narrative style of Premonition (2007). In this essay I will be exploring and analyzing the narrative form of Premonition (2007), which will contain the plot (the way a series of events are shown to the viewer) and story (how the series of events took place in reality), the cause and effect and how the latter is hidden or revealed, as well as the time and space of the film. The plot of Premonition does not happen in chronological order. As we are thrown between the past and future, what is real and what is a dream, we try to puzzle the pieces together of how JIM HANSON (Julian McMahan), the husband of LINDA (Sandra Bullock), died on Wednesday.
One sunny, cold winter day, two boys named Zane and Dusty went to the park to play in the snow. Their parents told them to stay away from the wall ledge.
It was february 2016 on a friday when me and my brother Josh just got off of our bus from school. It was a bright and sunny afternoon. Me and Josh started walking together on the sidewalk. for about 5 minutes until we were at our house. I turned the doorknob then opened the door. We both went in and decided to go to the family room to play on our Playstation 4 When we noticed something really off. Our dog Shorty was laying on the ground with our mom trying to comfort him.
He could tell that she was pissed, and he honestly had no idea why. So what if she broke a nail because he accidently kicked the ball at her, she dodged it, did she?! And so what if she fell into the mud later on, because of her dam seven inch high heels she wore that day, and then was covered in the dirty mud, ruining her outfit? She has plenty more of the same outfit, for God's sake, just a little lighter than the latter one! Oh, and who cares if her hair is a mess because she came outside and it was windy, how is it his fault? He can't control weather, ya know!
I woke up, but was I really up, I couldn't see anything but I can hear voices. I can hear the voices of my mom Ashley, my older sister Luna, my dad Ben, and one voice I didn't recognize. The only thing I can remember was seeing a car coming towards me. So I must have gotten in a car accident. And so the voice I heard must be a doctor. I
Would it be hard to lose a sense that is so easily taken for granted? What sense would be the hardest to lose? Having all five senses is a true blessing, and not having to worry about your body compensating for the loss is a good feeling. For someone who is either blind or deaf, their other senses become stronger. Those who are blind may be able to hear particular sounds that non-hearing impaired people wouldn’t hear. It’s so hard for those such as Helen Keller to lose two senses, or to live with someone who has lost a sense, or even to play a sport without your sight. I couldn’t imagine losing a sense, but the hardest one to lose would be sight, and here is why.
"Ah, no," Nicole said to herself. "I'm not gonna stick around to find out what that is." Nicole opened the door.
