• Singapore tourism has flourished in the past few years. It is a now a global city that attracts visitors, money and businesses on many areas.
• Singapore still benefit from the current boom in Asian travel and tourism but the journey ahead is packed with challenges. The country has to deal with physical limitations, slowing labour force growth and competition from a fast-growing neighbourhood.
• For this , they have to maintain the growth of a competitive industry that can work with limited resources through innovation, technology and potential development. (BOARD, 2012-2013)
• In addition, they include the local communities in all activities. The tourism sector currently puts in to 4% of Singapore’s GDP and gives jobs to around 160,000 . Other than direct contribution to economy, tourism increases the standard of residents with a variety of leisure activities, making Singapore an thrilling place that locals love to call their home.
• All Singapore residents promote their country as a very good host . As an essential part towards the quality of tourism, they think that the contribution of local communities and public involvement will boost their pride, which leads to the motivation for the future of tourism of the country.
