We recognize that every student has different learning styles. Know two are the same. As educators, we are the ones that will meet their needs, wants and even some of their desires. Teaching them to strive to be the best they can be. Having integrity, responsibility, accountability, and commitment to achieve, succeed, and be successful in life. The SimSchool and DUP assignment gave me a glance into my future. The SimSchool set me up for a virtual experience in the classroom using different tools for effective instruction. Introduced me to different scenario’s, as issues arise in the class. From sleeping, talking, needing to go to the bathroom, doing homework for other classes, to putting on make-up and more. The simschool program showed me what a teacher goes through every minute, day, and week. What strategies would I use? Giving me the chance to gather data, meet individual learner needs, to pick and choose how different strategies work. It lets me have control and showed me how I could change the class by giving assignments, asking questions, and following lesson plans for each day. What a unique experience.
