Here is a simple whole wheat pancake recipe that only takes a few minutes to prepare. This is a great alternative to regular pancakes when you're craving something hot off the griddle. Ingredients:

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1 Tablespoon of sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 egg

1/4 cup vanilla yogurt

1/4 cup water

1 Tablespoon canola or rice bran oil

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

First, whisk together the whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl, making sure there are no lumps.
