“I say I say, God is dead!” This quote was stated by John Proctor, a character from The Crucible, when he was accused of witchcraft by Mary Warren. John Proctor is a hardworking person, but he is a sinner too, he had an affair, he does not go to church because he hates Reverend Parris. John and I have a few personality traits in common, in that we are both hardworking men, we sinned a few times, but at the end we are honest. Both John Proctor and I show how we are hard working in different ways. John showed his hardworking side a lot, but one of the things that I liked is when he was trying to free his wife from being charged of witchcraft. He made a petition with Giles Corey, and Francis Nurse. 91 people signed it. That shows how he worked hard to save his wife.
Just like John I am a hardworking person too, one day I was laying in my bed, I was so bored, so I went and cut the grass, did the dishes, laundry, and cooked some food because I was hungry. When my parents came back they were shocked that I did something in the house because I never did the dishes before. He admitted that he did it while she was still working for him, and that they did it behind the barn. He plows on Sundays instead of going to the church. Although John’s sins are horrible, my sins are not like that. One day I had a history test, I fell asleep studying the day before the test. While I was taking the test, I didn’t know half of the test, that made me cheat off my friend, which I never do, but I had to because my grade was dropping. My teacher saw that I cheated, he asked me why I cheated, I kept denying that I did not cheat, I never lied
