A great tragic story/play “Macbeth” was written by one of the greatest writers, William Shakespeare. He wrote a play/Story about nobleness and manipulation. It goes into depth about what just a few words can do to a normal man, and what they may prioritize to follow their “fate”. Macbeth is a man of nobility and loyalty in the beginning of the story, until he gets manipulated and brainwashed by the witches and his wife, Lady Macbeth. His entire purpose in life changes as he uncovers how much power he can have, and therefore ambition and determination is placed into his mind guiding him to stop at nothing, in order for the prophecies to stay true. In the story, Macbeth and Macduff become two completely opposite people, to the extent that they want to kill each other. There are three fundamental differences between them; one being selfishness, another being integrity and last most importantly, their loyalty. Macbeth, who is a selfish man in the story, creates a great amount of chaos, compared to Macduff who is both benevolent and caring of the consequences the people of the country would face, as well as wanting the best for them. Banquo, who had heard the prophecies of his best friend’s, and saw the desire in Macbeth’s eyes, started to become suspicious of him when King Duncan was killed. Even though they were considered best friends, people who can inform each other about absolutely everything, Macbeth decides that it is best for him is Banquo dies so that no one can get in the way of his fate. In the story, Macbeth says: “Who wear our health but sickly in his life, which in his death were perfect” (3.1.110-111). In the story, Macduff always finds the right way to solve a problem, and even though he was Macbeth’s close friend he could not trust him, because he does not value friendship more than his country. Macduff is the most honest person, needing to know everything in every detail about each occurrence. He has to always know the truth and when he suspects a lie, he will get to the bottom of it until he finds out the truth. When Macduff finds out that King Duncan has died, he says: “Confusion now hath made his masterpiece most sacrilegious murder hath broke ope the Lord’s anointed temple and stole thence the life o’th building.” (2. 3. 62-65), and this thus proves that he truly cares about the goodness of Scotland. The people of the country had such a good king, who made them happy and gave them what they needed. It was as if he was truly chosen wisely to be king, and so when King Duncan died, it was a big tragedy because the man everyone looked up to has been murdered! Macbeth always tries to find away to work around the truth. Whenever a situation occurs where he is the culprit, he changes his story and makes himself seem innocent. When he was ordering the murderers to kill Banquo, he told them that Banquo was the one to blame and not Macbeth himself. After the encounter with the three witches, Macbeth talks to Banquo and says “I think not of them” (2.1.21-22), speaking of the witches. He tells Banquo
