Peace in the middle east is something that has been well demanded for 14,000 years, but due to the religious preferences it is extremely hard to come to a neutral agreement. For years Islam and Judaism have different beliefs that separates them and eliminates peacemaking, for instants they both believe in different sacred books, founders of land, and holy leaders. But also despite these two sharing differences they also have a few similarities that makes them similar as well. The Islamic holy book is the Quran; which Muslims believe is the infallible word of God. Jewish Revelation ended before the coming of Jesus, but Islam includes John the Baptist, Jesus and Muhammad as later prophets. Judaism is uniquely tied to the Hebrew ethnicity, whereas Islam desires to spread its faith to all people. Both the Judaism and Islamic share the same belief that there are sacred books that spiritually guide their people throughout their daily lives, shows them the will for mankind, the prophecies of the future, and reveals their holy leaders and what they expect of them. But the only differences is the fact that their sacred books just have different names, and also different messages for their people. Islam and Judaism both share the same origin in the middle east. They both believe that Abraham is the founder of the land. Since Abraham is considered the founder of the land then the people are considered to believe in Abrahamic religions. But they still both have different views in who is right to follow and who is wrong to follow. It’s safe to say that these people have huge similarities in the fact that they, believe that there is a great God above them that watches over them, but it is not necessarily the holy bible God that people most commonly believe in. With the Jewish, they believe Jesus did not fulfill messianic prophecies that establish the criteria for the coming of the messiah. Authoritative texts of Judaism reject Jesus as God, Divine Being, intermediary between humans and God, messiah or saint. And the Islamic the Arabic word for God is Allah. According to Muslims, God sent a number of prophets to mankind to teach them how to live according to His law. Jesus, Moses and Abraham are respected as prophets of God. They believe that the final Prophet was Muhammad. Also these two religions have different ways of praying, where they pray and holy routines.
