Greece is home to beautiful architecture, delectable foods, influential history especially greek myths In the myth of Hades and Persephone, Hades, God of the Underworld, falls in love with Persephone the moment he sees her. Hades told his brother Zeus, God of the Sky, about Persephone and together they planned to trap her. While Persephone was playing with her friends, Hades and Zeus caused the ground to slit beneath her. Persephone was sent to the underworld and was made Hades’s wife. There are many beautiful sights to see, but Greece is my top choice place to
visit.
These two stories are so different from each other they just have two things for each section that are the same. Heroes Every Child Should Know is a more interesting story of how to kill Medusa. Perseus the poem isn't that good because it just has a part of what how to kill Medusa it is just that he had a shield and just chopped her head off. So the rest of the paragraphs are just to say the similarities and differences. Perseus is different by many things the characters, settings, event, and the theme.
Greek culture is rich with traditions and is famous for its myths, arts, sculptures and architecture. Ancient Greeks situated in several lands close to the Mediterranean Sea, Turkey and south of France. Because of the contact with Egyptians, Syrians and Persians Greeks inspired and were inspired by other cultures. Like many of their cultural creations, kraters were another example.

Despite their many cultural differences the Greek Goddess Persephone and the Nordic Goddess Hel, both Queens of the Underworld, personify the divide and the unity of life and death through their physical appearance, their seemingly cruel treatment of heroes, and the importance of water in their otherworldly domains.

It has become a hot spot for tourism because of its historical significance and its shear beauty.? Olympia is about a five hour bus ride from capital city Athens.
The Greek heroes, Theseus and Perseus, are unique from each other because of the personalities and achievements. They were both assisted by gods in the journeys and have killed fierce enemies with there help. Perseus is the ruler of the Tiryns kingdom and son of Olympian Zeus and mortal Danae making him a Demigod. On the other hand, Theseus is the king of Athens kingdom and son of the former ruler of Athens, King Aegeus and Aethra making him a mere mortal. Although both are great Greek heroes, Theseus was more heroic and more intelligent than Perseus.
Perseus was a demigod. His father was Zeus, the king of all Gods, and his mom was a princess. Perseus was also known as a Greek hero. Here is why he was a Greek hero, and why I consider him myself a Greek hero.
Life in Greece in ancient times would remind you of your own life in many ways. There was school, family, athletic competition, and social gatherings. Knowing that participants in their sporting events competed nude or that you rarely knew your husband/wife until the wedding day does however, make you grateful for the society that you live in today.
When one mentions myths, you think of Greek mythological figures like the mighty Zeus or the heinous, king Hades; the big shots of mythology with a strong familiarity in culture to this day for their signature power and rule. Yet there are the gods and goddesses that couldn’t compare and fell under the rulers’ shadows. Persephone is one of these goddesses, but she was never weak and far from it, for she was much like Hades herself: cunning, ageless, and powerful. Persephone was the goddess of spring growth, prosperous vegetation and grain, but do not let that fool you; Persephone was well known as the Queen of the Underworld. Persephone led a bittersweet life but was a powerful goddess nonetheless.
Perseus in mythology and Percy Jackson from the Percy Jackson movies and books have many things in common. They both had to overcome great things to get where they ended up. In mythology there was a prophecy that said that King Acrisius would have a grandson. He originally wanted to see if he would have a son to find out his daughter would instead, and he would be the death of the king. To prevent this he locked his daughter away in a bronze house, so that she could have no children. Little did the king know Zeus paid her a little visit and impregnated her with his golden rain.
Hades is the god of the underworld in the greek mythology. He was a son of Cronus and Rhea. He had three sisters, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera, as well as two brothers, Zeus, the youngest of the three, and Poseidon. They were all trapped inside of their dad right after they were born.
To the greek, a hero may be defined as, somebody who does something dangerous to help somebody else. To the Urban Dictionary a hero is “a person or character who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, displays courage, bravery or self-sacrifice.” Two people, Perseus and Theseus, (who also happen to be two of the most known heroes to to the greeks) fit these descriptions perfectly. Perseus and Theseus acquire the traits needed of an amazing hero. The characteristics which they portrayed are, intelligence, courage, and help from the gods. They use these characteristic similarly and differently throughout their life and these next few paragraphs.
I am the god of the underworld, and wealthy: Hades. I have had a troubled past with my brethren, during my time before ruling the underworld. I am an Olympian like my brothers Poseidon and Zeus. We had a share of the world, but I had my way, so I was cast god of the underworld and dead.
Greece has done a lot for our modern day enteritament like sports mostly the olpiany games which where statred in greece. We have the still have the olpian games today it is very important is a world wide event. Greece is the civilaztion that came up with the olypian idea and made it a sport.
