Aan would start at sunrise till midday, and then I would take over throughout the rest of the day until sun down. Aan got the earlier shift so she could prepare supper later on in the day. While she worked in the morning, I would take Aaiqa with me to the green meadows of Jaylyau (Astana). There, I would hunt for packs of urial for supper that night.
