This song stands out to me because it is a representation of Lorde’s life and values; Lorde represents her home country, New Zealand. I admire Lorde’s talent and songwriting abilities. For example, she writes captivating lyrics that have meaning. I also like “Royals” by Lorde. I chose “Team” because it is catchy, it represents Lorde’s roots, and the lyrics contain powerful examples of literary devices.
