The Malaysian Airlines Flight or MH370, crashed into the Southern Indian Ocean on Tuesday March 9 of 2014. (239 People Are Dead. Should Searchers Keep Looking for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370?).
The Investigation took three 3 years, but was abandoned in 2017 after authorities failed to find anything other than part of the plane. The Plane has still yet to be recovered. There were many different Stakeholders who responded to the Disaster, as well as, were tasked with Investigating what caused the Plane to Divert from its original destination of Beijing to where it landed. The main stakeholders are Malaysian Airlines, the 239 Passengers involved in Disaster and their families, the Malaysian Government and Malaysia’s Transport Minister, the Australian Government (ATSB), the Chinese Government, the French Government, ICAO or the International Civil Aviation Authority, and many other Aviation sectors that are part of ICAO. This evidence raises many questions, why did the plane crash if there was nothing wrong with the Systems? Could this have been an intentional maneuver by the pilot? Could Foul Play have taken place? Let’s look at what evidence has been made public.

This tragic accident was preventable by not only the flight crew, but maintenance and air traffic control personnel as well. On December 29, 1972, ninety-nine of the one hundred and seventy-six people onboard lost their lives needlessly. As is the case with most accidents, this one was certainly preventable. This accident is unique because of the different people that could have prevented it from happening. The NTSB determined that “the probable cause of this accident was the failure of the flightcrew.” This is true; the flight crew did fail, however, others share the responsibility for this accident. Also, there is no proof of the remains of people, planes, and ships because the Gulf Stream carries them elsewhere, but they have not disappeared, they have just been moved and altered. It is impossible for anything to stay in the exact spot it landed in the ocean because of the constant movement in the water. There is no evidence of the remains of people, but there are several contributing factors to why people have crashed such as: the underwater topography, the current of the Gulf Stream, and methane gas hydrates. There are very deep trenches in that area and it is unlikely that ships there will be found. The current in that area is also extremely strong and can misplace evidence of ships
In conclusion, many contribution factors led to the Crossair flight 3597 crash but is mainly triggered by Crossair’s incapability of assessment, pilot error and lastly the air traffic controller. Analysis of a flight crash is important so that we will know the causes, thus being able tackle it, making sure that there are no other flight crashes like Crossair flight 3597.

At approximately 1:21 p.m., the communications and transponder signal were functioning no longer. There were no emergency calls at the time the plane had its last checkpoint. On March 24 at approximately 10p.m.Malaysia Standard Time, officials ceased the search as radio signals picked up debris found throughout a remote Indian Ocean. It is believed that all of the 239 passengers on the plane died (Preimesberger). From protests and outcries, to mourning and fallouts, it is still a distraught event that shocked the world.
Plane crashes occur for a number of reasons. There seems to be a consensus with the general public that flying is dangerous, engines fail and planes crash. That is true some times, although the majority of plane crashes occur largely due to a combination of human error and mechanical failure. In much of aviations accidents mechanical failure has been a contributing factor. It is impossible however to blame plane crashes on one reason since events leading up to an accident are so varied. The causes and factors that will be discussed are human performance, environmental, and the aircraft itself. Although flying is one of the safest means of transportation, accidents do happen. It is the investigators job to determine why the accident happened, and who or what was at fault. In the event of an accident, either one or all of these factors will be determined as the cause of the accident. Also discussed will be one of the most tradgic plane crashes in aviation history and the human factors involved.
The primary cause is of airplane accidents does at some stage contain an element of a person being unable to discharge his duties correctly and in an accurate manner. More than 53% accidents are the result of ignorance or faults by the pilot during flight. Other staff is responsible for about 8% accidents. The most obvious errors by pilot are made during the take off or landing on the runway. Additionally errors can occur during the maintenance of the airplane outside the plane, whereby a lack of thorough inspection and oversight can lead to complication during mid-flight. Fueling and loading of the plane also sometimes create problems (Shapiro, 2001).
