If there is anything teens and kids wanna do, its wear and pick out their own clothes. But may that always be the right choice? Although school uniforms may be less expensive than the name brand stuff you beg your parents to buy, are you really being yourself? When wearing uniforms you are restricted of your clothing choice, but this can also result in a good way.

You are less likely to be picked on or “judged” by other people if you are wearing uniforms. Because when those uniforms come on you are looked upon as equal. On the other hand when you wear your own clothes there is always the kid the does not have the “cool” clothes, or their clothes are not good enough, don’t match, doesn't follow the dress code. But suddenly that all goes away with a uniform.

I know especially in my own school that is one thing kids pick out in others is clothing. “Ew that's so ugly” “omg she wore that yesterday” “does he have any other shirts?” “who would ever even wear that” is some of the things kids say but the problem is that some kids don't have the money to buy a different outfit every day of the week, or be able to shop at high end stores, or even do the wash. But when you bring back in uniforms all the kids would be wearing the same outfits and you wouldn't know if that kid wore that yesterday because he or she could have the same outfit five times.


Once again I think school uniforms are the way to go. With just adding uniform there would be so much less problems. Kids wouldn't be bullied as much, parents would spend less money on buying new trendy clothes, girls wouldn't be as tempted to break the code, boys wouldn't be “distracted” by girls as teachers would say.
