Most parking available in downtown cost money and time. Even the parking spaces available are very limited and not everyone could afford it. The parking decks in downtown belong to some companies. Public dog parks could be very essential to cities. Many people who own dogs have no where to take them, which does not give the dogs any exercise or social interaction. We should treat our pets as equal and satisfy their needs as much as our own.

Baltimore City is a diverse and culturally vibrant city. It’s a city with unique charm, made up of dozens of individual neighborhoods, each with their own distinct style and personality. It does however have its fair share of planning issues. Many of these problems are the result of a history of poor decisions made by government officials. Only through a thorough examination of the issues and a look at sustainable solutions that might improve the city can a planner help Baltimore be the vibrant, secure, and prosperous city it has the potential to be.
According to Jack Patton, a retired steelworker, he affirms that the steel industry used to be the strength of the US economy, as well as the driving force of the Cleveland Economy. But now, most of the steel mills have closed, businesses have left, and Cleveland has lost thousands of jobs. On his part, Paul Volpe, an architecture, states that Cleveland used to be the centerpiece of Fortune 500 companies until most of them left and only a few now remain. The population itself has not grown as expected, thereby giving rise to the concept of “sprawl”. In the 1960’s and 70’s, part of what drives business to the suburbs is numerous free and large parking space, however, officials of Cleveland, to salvage the situation, tore down many vacant structures to create parking lots for businesses. Sadly, this effort did not work: more businesses collapsed and more people left, leaving the city in isolation. Regrettably, the problem persisted, the situation of things got exacerbated, until late 1966 when things finally exploded. This led to serious riots and protests which even drove many away; the straw that finally broke the camel’s back was when the Cuyahoga River caught fire, this led to more and more people deserting the city and eventually, the city went into bankruptcy. As tax revenues fall, basic city services also fell; police
Parking on Campus is a Pain New students entering Concordia College are not permitted to have a car on campus. With each new freshman class entering every year, parking represents an issue. Concordia is as of now constrained in its parking on campus and since first year students are not permitted to have cars, the students are confronted with the problem of having no place to park or parking very a long way from their goal. There are parking issues everywhere throughout the campus, making backups in residence hall and other lots, bringing about students parking illegally to avoid from walking far distances, which can be very aggravating in the bitter cold. Parking nearer appears like the reasonable thing to do, however it is a hazard, which
The arrival to Manhattan was like an entry to a whole new world: from the sea, its breezes, color, and landscapes, to the heart of the city beating louder than ever at the Whitehall Terminal. I could smell New York’s bagels in Battery Park with a mixture of the most relaxing scents: the coffee people were holding while walking down the streets, the old walls of Castle Clinton ...
One of the live events I recently attended was the Comedy Get Down Tour, hosted at Consol Energy Center, September 18th. In return for being involved as a street team member for the comedy tour, I was offered 2 free tickets. Foremost, as we know in order to have a successful show, venues must provide practical event parking. Parking is usually never an issue at Consol Energy Center. With the lot open for public parking where Mellon Arena once stood and private lots along 5th Avenue, there's usually never an issue. However, the closer the lot is to the venue, the more it costs. On average from what I have noticed from other major events at Consol Energy Center, the average cost to park in these lots is $15-20 dollars.

Parking on campus needs improving. Students entering the university are allowed to have a car on campus. With every new freshmen class entering parking posses a problem on campus. The campus is already limited in its parking on campus and since freshmen are allowed to have cars, the students before them are faced with the dilemma of how many new freshmen will be bringing a car to school.

Parks for dogs would be a good thing for the community. I believe that the community would be better, because there are always going to be dog owners in the neighborhood. Its a place where you can meet, and get to know your neighbors. It also benefits the dogs, they get to exersice ant meet other dogs. People are always going to own dogs no matter where they live. A dog park would give space where you can socialize with neighbors . It would help build the community, bond with people.
