When the children are drugged they do not know what they are doing. The people who are doing this have no sanity because drugs can give children horrible diseases with what's inside of the drug. People the children knew were killed if the children did not join. So the children had to do it against their will. The children do not want to see people they love die right in front of them so they had to do whatever the people said. They should be reunited with the people they love, not put in jail for being forced to do something they did not want to do. People who stand up for the rights for children get killed like a teacher at an all girl school trying to protect them (add the story ). The children were just trying to protect the people they love. The children were also almost killed if they chose not to be recruited. It was either the children killed or they would be killed. The children wanted to live and they should still get to live their life happily. The children never wanted to fight in the war they could be killed in battle
The children who volunteered were the “idle and deserted children who generally swarm in great cities, nurtured on vice and daring,” they thought they were going to Palestine but really they were being sold as slaves. Children are naive and very gullible, trusting in the words of the adults around them. They also believe that they have a grasp on their lives and control of the obstacles in life one discovers through experience when, in reality they have exactly the opposite. The young who fought in Dresden went off to war without knowing what to expect, much like the Children’s Crusade volunteers. Good fortune might have been one of the promises sworn in boot camp but what they received was the complete scythe of silence. Left behind, untagged and forgotten on the battleground, their bodies disintegrated into the earth leaving the young’s’ potentials undone.
The first reason these kids shouldn’t be prosecuted or punished in any way is because it wasn’t their choice to be a soldier to begin with. According to Child Soldiers, Prosecution, most kids were forced to fight and had no choice of weather to enlist or not. There are about 200,000 child soldiers worldwide state's Armed and Underage, (Gettleman) and these kids are doing things their adolescent brains
The law stated that if you did not go to war when you were drafted, you went to jail.... ... middle of paper ... ... Soldiers were forced to serve in the war or else sentenced to jail. They were maltreated in training with physical and mental punishments and desensitized of their civilian mentality, making them walk, breathe, killing machines.
Many immigrants are coming to U.S because their life is at risk in their own country . We don't want what happened to my cousin to happen again. They force teens to sell dugs but they don't wan't to, so their parents want them to come to the U.S. they just don’t have enough money to send them to the u.s so they end up dying in the streets. There are many gangs in Mexico they threat you to join them or die so they come to the u.s for a better life and fear of getting killed.(No Childhood Here ) Many people in Mexico are scary to even step a foot out their house because their always somebody die in the streets .they are really scary that they might be the next one die . their high violence is scarring the teen and children from going to school cause the gang, Narcos ,cartel can kidnap them or kill them.(No Childhood Here ) But many teens die crossing the border cause they run out of food or water or smuggler but immigrants call them coyote leaves them in the desert by their self
They also had greater responsibilities of protecting their children and being with their wives. Also, if the soldiers did not have wives or children. The death toll was extremely high, as was the chance of being sick. It would not be cowardly if the soldiers were to leave in fear of dying of sickness or injury.
Many young children are being torn apart from their families. Many parents come to the United States to make money and send back. They would leave their children with grandparents or other family members, until they are able to bring them up to the U.S.
Children have been used as soldiers in many events, however two that stand out are the use of child soldiers in the Sierra Leone civil war and the drug cartels in Mexico. Most people agree that forcing children to be soldiers is wrong and not humane. The people that make them soldiers transform them into belligerent beings by force. Child soldiers of drug cartels and the armies of Sierra Leone were threatened with their lives if they didn’t become soldiers. The lives of these child soldiers are lives that nobody should live. Situations in both countries are horrible because of the high number of youngsters that are forced to take part in drug use and are transformed into extremely belligerent and inhumane people; in addition they are deprived

There is a topic that is currently being widely conversed, meaning a lot of people are talking about it. This topic is whether or not kids should be able to do extreme sports. Lots of people think kids should be able to do extreme sports, but others think they shouldn't. What do you think should kids be able to do extreme sports? If it were your choice and you could stop kids from doing extreme sports would you? I know I wouldn’t is bad for kids to do extreme sports as they could get injured, mentally scarred or even die; I say no to kids doing extreme sports as I wouldn't want my future kid to get injured or the other possibilities I don't want this to happen to others.
Also, even though they are just kids they still knew what they were doing was wrong. And they had two options, doing the right thing even if it meant death or staying alive doing horrible things. Most of them chose to stay alive. But if enough kids refuse, they wouldn’t just kill most of their troops. This all could have been avoided.
More than five thousand people under age twenty-one die from alcohol-related injuries every year. The number of teens drinking has only increased, and is causing problems. Many underage drinkers are facing physical and mental health problems. Underage drinking is unhealthy for teens and needs to stop. Teens are not the only people suffering from the underage drinking, adults and children are also affected.
Did you know that human rights experts estimate that more than 200,000 children worldwide are used as soldiers?(Jeffrey Gettleman) These children are prosecuted for the crimes they committed, are forced to fight against their own will, and can be mentally and physically affected afterwards. There may be some conditions where kids choose to go out everyday and kill people, but when you think about, these children are brainwashed with drugs and alcohol by their leader, causing them to commit crimes against humanity without even realizing. As you listen to this, please understand that child soldiers across the world, are not at fault.
A highly debated topic amongst society is whether or not child soldiers should be considered as victims or criminals. There are children in this world that don’t get to experience the wonders of growing up. They are trained to hold a gun and shoot a man with no second thoughts, and if they don’t obey there are serious consequences, one being death. These children are bribed to become a soldier with money and food, sometimes they have to accept in order for their family to be fed. Child soldiers should be treated like victims because they are brainwashed into thinking that killing people is okay, the recruitment of child soldiers under the age of 15 is a war crime, and when they are recruited they are treated very poorly and often given the
According to the Government, one in every four 12th graders experienced illicit drugs in the past year (1); accordingly, there is a real danger that one of our children would be exposed to this threat. Why do young people decide to take drugs? Usually, there are four main reasons; because they want to fit in, or to feel good, or to feel better, or do better (2). Some children decide to taste drugs “because others are doing it;” other children because they want to experience the initial pleasure these substances provide, other children want to escape the anxiety of their environment, and some other children to improve their academic or athletic performance. However, the root reason is that we forget God.
