There is no way any kid can contact as an emergency to have a cellphone in elementary schools. If parents were needed, the school staff will contact to the parents. Every student’s contact information and emergency numbers are put under student’s file. If people believe giving kids cell phones as an emergency contact, it will not work for them. Kids will not focus on learning. They will focus on checking every singles message beeps up. They are so busy with sending messages and watching cartoon videos. According to the school officials, the current rule allows students can have their cell phones turned off in the class which is not a good idea. So schools should ban students having cell phones at all in the class due to the following two reasons: Distraction and Cheating, having cell phones in elementary schools is a distraction. Because students aged between five to ten doesn’t have the potential to control their emotions, the most important thing for the students is to keep track of his lessons.
