Recommended: An essay on dog parks
Shoud Muscatine, Iowa have a public dog park? There are two arguments to look at when getting a dog park. People who think this would benifit, and people who think they would not benifit. People who would benifit from the park, have many ideals why this would be great not just for dogs, but for the city. By having a dog park is important for dogs health. Just by letting them off the leash, the can run and play. This also teaches the dogs to interact more with each other instead of barking like crazy when they are on the leash, which can disturb city residents. With all the great things of having a dog park there are some negitives. The pepole who would not like to get a dog park, think it's not a great ideal.
P4: ‘The parks can be cruel to the animals they hold because they put a restriction the freedom they would normally have in the wild’ (para 5).
be desecrated by progress our parks system will be just as bad as what you are
If there was a dog park, property values would most definitely go up. The community should try to make every resident happy where they live. Some cat owners don't feel dog owners should be able to get a dog park since they themselves are not asking for a place to bring their cats. Cats are more of indoor animals and they don't need as much attention and exercise as dogs. Cats don't need wide open spaces to play around in. People feel as though they are being treated unfairly due to the lack of yard space and areas for their pets to roam around
I feel the dog restrictions in Shullsburg are limiting the lifestyles for both specific dog breeds as well as their owners. When I say I have a pit bull does that frighten you? For most people it does, even though it shouldn’t. Did you know that pit bull isn’t just one breed of a dog? There are seven different dog breeds that are classified as pits. My puppy, a terrier, lab, retriever, and pit bull mix, is both loving and affectionate, but because she is part pit bull people already have a bad image plastered in their head without even meeting her. When uneducated people say bad things about pit bulls, it devastates me. My personal opinion toward this topic may be different than yours; however, I’m just asking you to have an open-mind and take
...es to all of the other dogs in the world. In a country proud of our diversity and freedoms, we should be granting dogs the same lives. They deserve that diversity in what breeds they are mixed with and the freedom of a life outside of the bars in a shelter. Do your part and give a dog the life it deserves.
A dog par can be a good experience for dogs because they can feel the relaxing place where they do not have to use leash, so they are free to move wherever they feel like to inside of the park. This situation can be helpful to the people, since they are free of worries of their dogs because a big closed pet-friendly place would give them the confidence that there are no hazards, like vehicles, or any damage to the dog. Also, a dog park in the city would help to create friendship and an identity of community since dog owners do not have to go to other cities to enjoy of these kind of parks. Instead, they can be part of an identity and recognize themselves with their own city.
What it's primarily known for are dumping unwanted dogs. They are simply released and left to fend for themselves in hopes of adapting to their environment or being rescued by a park ranger. In most cases, dogs die from eating foreign objects, injury, or eaten by mountain lions. Some dogs, while hiking with their owners, have gotten loose resulting to yet, another missing dog. In this case, one out of five dogs is found and returned back to their owners.
It is true that a dog park can be costly, but the fact is that over 60% of the tax paying residents with dogs reside in rental properties with a small, or no private yard at all.
Although people who are opposed to the dog park because of possible noise issues, should consider that dogs will bark and become aggressive in their homes, and this is more of a community neusance.
As many agree, dogs can become very aggresive if they don't unleash their supressed energy. A dog park would allow them to exercise freely withim the land, which would be a great contrast from the cities rules of not allowing them to be loose in most public spaces. Chances of you being bitten by a restricted dog at a friend's house or even on the street are much higher
Would you want to have a dog park around your city? Dogs are one of the most loyal pets and animals that people can own. I think we should have a dog park in are city because many of them dont get a lot of exercise when you live in the city , and it makes more money for the city if they would build one and most dogs become less loyal because they are lonely or not exercised enough.
Then there are all of the good benefits of having a dog park. People can
Parks for dogs would be a good thing for the community. I believe that the community would be better, because there are always going to be dog owners in the neighborhood. Its a place where you can meet, and get to know your neighbors. It also benefits the dogs, they get to exersice ant meet other dogs. People are always going to own dogs no matter where they live. A dog park would give space where you can socialize with neighbors . It would help build the community, bond with people.
Zoos could be considered wonderful, as well as being considered unacceptable. Either way zoos are a massive part of society, as millions of people visit them worldwide. Zoos have had their positive parts and their critical parts. Despite the negative parts that have taken place over the years. Zoos should be recognized as an extraordinary thing. As well as a thing that is up in arms for the animals that inhabit them. Accordingly zoos keep animals safe and alive.Shirley McMarlin a staff writer at the Tribune-Review states the following on her opinion on zoos.“Zoos are an essential resource for the consecration of many endangered and threatened species.” Afterwards goes on to cite
Animals should be free and in the wild, sometimes the animals might not have enough space to roam around. As stated in “The Impact of Animal Protection,” if animals have a small space they are more than likely to go psychotic. Small spaces may make animals breed forceful, which may make the animals overpopulate and they will need to have to kill off some of the species. Trying to keep the animals in captivity to extend their lifespan isn’t as good as it seems, if you put animals in the zoo, they don’t have the challenges to build up their strength as they do in the wild. The animals have more challenges to build up their strength and endurance than they do in an animal park.
