“Ugghhh!” Tamiya says as she realizes her birthday was days away and she had nothing planned. “My birthday is always over the top, I have to do it big this year for my 18th birthday,” she said to herself. Last year Tamiya had the hottest birthday party, at the best venue, in LA and this year she wanted it to be even better than that. However, since then her father had lost his job and her mother was working overtime to make ends meet. Tamiya had been working as a tutor and saving her money but it wasn’t enough for what Tamiya had planned. Tamiya’s mother and father tried to make the best of her birthday by spending their last on her. Although she did appreciate everything they did, it just wasn’t what she wanted.
The morning of her birthday she was very depressed. Her hair wasn’t done, she had nothing to wear, and it was storming badly that day. Just as she began to cry, smoke filled her room. When she opened her eyes a beautiful woman stood in front of her with big glittery wings and a crown full of diamonds. “Why is the beautiful birthday girl crying on her special day?” said the woman. “How did you know it was my birthday and who are you?” asked Tamiya. “My name is Mila and I am your Fairy Birthday Mother,” said Mila. Tamiya was in shock, she had nothing to say. “I am here to fulfill all of your wishes on your birthday, but wish carefully, because at 12:00 tonight all wishes will be final.” Tamiya couldn’t believe what was happening, so she decided to give it a try. “I wish I had the latest fashion on right now,” Tamiya wish.
