Shoes are daily footwear for almost everyone and it's a necessity. Some people tends to only have one pair shoes for the whole year, while some people have over hundreds of shoes. I remember when I was little I had all types of shoes ranging from Nike, Adidas, Jordans, and some designer shoes. Shoes was going for around $30 to $90 back when I was young. Nowadays, a good pair of shoes goes for $100 and if you want shoes for different occasions, it could cost up north of $200 a pair. If you're a college student you probably can’t afford a pair right now cause of school expenses. I think there should be some sort of a discount for college students or make shoes a little affordable.
Shoes prices has been going up in the past couple of years. There might be a solution for a college student to be able to buy shoes. Being able to buy shoes is a blessing or a hobby for some people but the shoe price has gone up a lot for since 1996. College students have to worry about living cost and tuition before they can have leisure lifestyle. Imagine a student whose life is swamped with so many college classes and work duties that he or she must schedule some time to spend with family and friends. That is the situation that nontraditional college students go through every day of a school semester and still try to maintain a healthy family relationship.
