SEXUAL EDUCATION AND WHY IT IS GOOD FOR YOU
Human evolution and biology has guided us throughout all of our short history. One of the most advanced and extraordinary traits that evolution has giving us is our way to reproduce. Being able to sexually reproduce is the most useful trait to reproduce offspring and guarantee a chance for them to survive. So why is it that every opportunity is it that we try and prevent people from it? Now do not go out and have sex every second that is possible, but why is it that society, especially towards adolescents and teens, tries to prevent healthy sexual relationships. Society has deliberately for multiple reasons tried to prevent people from having access to having safe and sexual relationships becauses they refuses to give them the knowledge to. In schools across America, students are not being taught the basics of sexual education that could are required in order to have a safe and healthy sexual relationship. While “More than two out of three public school districts have a policy mandating sexuality education, according to research published in 1999 by The Alan Guttmacher Institute” (Sex Education). There are still some that do not provide people with it. Thus, preventing them from obtaining the basic knowledge that is needed for a safe and healthy relationship. This education includes things such as the safe and proper use for contraceptives, the dangers and risks of std’s, and preventive measures for damage to the body. The people bred are specifically modified to have their sexual reproduction age be lowered to ages as low as seven, and while children are still in this young age, they are taught about the sexual pleasures that the body has to offer. This is shown when the DNC is giving a tour of the facility, “ ‘We had Elementry Sex for the first forty minutes.’ she said ‘But now it has switched over to Elementary Class Consciousness’. This shows how in the book, they teached the children about sex at an early age because they know that they will do it at some point in their lives, so they show them at an early age so they can enjoy it the rest of their lives. As opposed to the real world, where people appaul the idea of having sex until they are at least married, the book allows the children to explore their natural pleasures in order to better explore themselves. In the book, they are so good about having birth control that the term “mother” is a horrible insult, because they have so many ways that they can prevent normal birth, that having one is a great shame to the mother.
