Have you ever thought about being president of the United States before? Well, it’s probably not going to be your dream job that you’ve imagined before. You have to upkeep the entire country by setting laws into action that will make the country a better place. Luckily, there are a lot of things that could be improved about the country.

If I were president, I would try my best to eliminate sexism by giving women an equal pay. Unfortunately, we live in a society where men are seen as the stronger gender and get a higher pay than women. They also tend to get accepted into more jobs. I would try to solve this problem by giving the poor cheap/free healthcare and also giving veterans who have PTSD or an amputated limb free healthcare, too, because they served for our country. There would also be more homeless shelters and hospitals, some of which would be specifically for homeless or poor people who have mental illnesses.

Gun control would be a must. In order to legally own a gun, you would have to pass training, much like a driver’s test. If you had passed the test, you would be required to keep it in a highly-protected safe at all times except for in case of emergencies. You could only have a certain amount of guns at a time.

Due to the fact that some people have a habit of picketing veterans’ funerals, all picketing at funerals would be completely banned, and if you were seen doing it, you would automatically be charged about a fine of 500 to 750 dollars. Hate groups against races or genders would be abolished. On a smaller scale, PETA in America would not be allowed to take animals from homes or off the street because they euthanize them and they don’t even give them a chance at being adopted.
