Some contexts about Serial season one. Within the podcast there is just a looming message: who murdered Hae Min Lee and who murdered her. Sarah tells us in the first episode that “And I'm not a detective or a private investigator. I'm not even a crime reporter. But, yes, every day this year, I've tried to figure out the alibi of a 17-year-old boy. Before I get into why I've been doing this, I just want to point out something I'd never really thought about before I started working on this story. And that is, it's really hard to account for your time, in a detailed way,” Koenig ep. 1). The adage of the adage. Sarah claims she is not a part of the law nor is she an expert in the field, but this helps her better understand the case of Adnan Syed and look at it through a different lens. The podcast, Serial, is an investigative narrative hosted by Sarah Koenig that follows the story of an unsolved murder case involving Adnan Syed and Hae Min Lee. The podcast displays multiple sides to the story and digs deep to find answers to many of the burning questions. One of the heaviest factors in this case is the possibility that Adnan is a psychopath. Whether or not this is true could affect the outcome of the case greatly
Summary and Response: The Deal with Jay In Episode 8 of Sarah Koenig’s podcast, Serial, Koenig claims that Jay isn’t a reliable enough source of information for the state to find Adnan guilty of the murder. She argues that there are too many inconsistencies in the story that he has told police over and over, and that there are too many problems in the story that the police use against Adnan. Episode 8 begins Koenig interviewing Stella Armstrong, a juror in Adnan’s case who voted to convict Adnan
