Senior Project Reflection

Before viewing senior projects during my junior year, I had no idea what a senior project was, let alone what I would do for my project. After much consideration over the summer, I decided that I wanted to write a book of poetry for my senior project. I felt as though writing a book of poetry would be a splendid opportunity for self-reflection and that writing this book would help me improve my poetry-writing skills. My main inspiration for wanting to write a poetry book came from a poetry program that one of my previous high schools hosted. Prior to beginning my project, I first planned out what type of poetry I wanted to write, what the main themes of my poetry would be, and how I would publish my book upon project completion. Beginning
