In this time between 1500 and 1700 there were many changes to the world as it was known. Some of these changes included improved trade routes, broader views on all subjects, expansion, and even new inventions. The development of European exploration and Imperialism is a positive development due to the fact that though it did hurt some cultures it brought the world further in technology, secular thought, and connection between continents. The first way is through economic growth. With all the new trade routes developed and all the new cultures introduce this became a great haven for trade. The Europeans along with the rest of the people in the world were being introduced to stuff they had never seen before. This aloud for abundant trade and many new developments. Though economic growth was one of the largest benefits, there also was the growth of secularism. The growth of secularism was a positive development because it allowed people to start thinking outside the box. Secularism had a huge part in finding new inventions and ways of travel. The world as a whole has benefited from this time in history. Every country that was effected by the European imperialism has benefited in the long run. The country that has benefited the most is the United States of America, it went from a non-existent country to a world power in less than two centuries. Not only has the United States benefited but also Africa and Asia. They have both benefited very positively as a result of trade and
The colonization of Africa gave the Europeans more workers and workspace that boost them economically and financially. It can be said that Eurasia underwent large changes between 1000 and 1450. Governments were changing their methods of control and trade networks increasing globalization worldwide. Along with these new changes, scientific and technological innovations in Eurasia took flight and reached new heights unseen. As new ideas traveled main trade routes, such as the Silk Road and the Mediterranean, the effects of such were felt through an influx of contact between countries due to increased desire for new information and countries gaining a larger presence on the world stage. This phenomenon can also be seen

When one thinks of imperialism they often refer to the concept with very strong feelings. The general population will either agree with it or disagree. There tends to be no middle ground. The best way to look at imperialism is with an impartial mind. If one looks at imperialism with an open mind then they are able to see both the strengths and the weaknesses that it harbors. Throughout history one is most likely able to name several circumstances where imperialism took place and also point out the obvious aftermath of. Imperialism tends to have a greater good behind it, but unfortunately may have been executed poorly.
Modern imperialism can be described that is was never good. When a nation took over a smaller nation for economic, political, or social reason, they were imperialistic, creating the oppressors and oppressed system of the mother and colonized nations. As expected they changed the modern world plenty and pretty much made it a harder world to live during that time. It depends on a person’s point of view. Some may think it was positive overall, but it only led to things in this world that were negative. Even though modern imperialism occurred more than 100 years ago, it still affects us on how our nations were broken down.
The Age of Exploration in Europe developed along with the Renaissance. In Western history, both periods served as transitional movements between the early modern and Middle Ages periods. The evolution as well as advancement of abroad exploration was fueled by competition between growing European empires like England and Spain. The size as well as the influence of European empires expanded greatly during this time as it was motivated by profit, religion and power. The exploration’s effects were felt both abroad as well as in the geographical boundaries of Europe itself. The political, cultural and economical influences of Europe’s early stages of international exploration affected the continuing development of European society as well as the whole world.
Many positive outcomes came from exploring. After exploration there was a lot more knowledge of the world, Europeans started producing better more accurate maps of the world which made it easier for sailors to get to the new world and back without getting lost. The discovery of the new world led to more trade and new foods, the new foods were able to feed more people which led to a bigger population for not only Europeans. After exploration Europeans were able to spread ideas and technology much quicker than before. For the Natives, they were able to hunt buffalo much easier with European
The Scientific Revolution indulged Europeans to look at life through different aspects as well as experimenting, searching for answers (, being open minded). The rise of the Ottoman Empire meant that Muslims could dominate the Middle East, so they charged Christians major taxes for all of the goods that would come their way towards Europe. Christopher Columbus, an explorer, sought for a way to avoid the taxes and set forth by sailing west to get to Asia. Spain, England and France all looked for trade routes to Asia. Columbus suggested crossing the Atlantic believing he would hit Asia, not knowing that there would be a country in his way. Every country was at “war” claiming land and trying to colonize. A numbering amount of men died and neglected their expedition by living with other tribes and taking some for wives.
In the late 1700s the cottage industry was the main source of income for almost all Europeans. In the late eighteenth century the demand for production was increasing rapidly, but before the Europeans found new innovated ways to manufacture goods, they were having a hard time keeping up with the productivity. The transition from tools to machines was an astonishing advancement for the European countries. Europeans were the first to find more efficient ways to use their resources. With the breakthroughs in technology and the new inventions the European countries were even more powerful than they we...
Although imperialism helped the colonized people by improving the economy and the lives of the people, for the most part imperialism hurt the colonized people because the people were forced to grow cash crops which led to death by starvation. First of all, imperialism improved the lives of the colonized people by aiding economic growth. The imperial powers prompted industrialization in the colonies, which is the development of advanced technology, leading to modernization in the colony. This is the change to a more modern, a more advanced country with new technology and better standards of living. These improvements then led to an increase in self-sufficiency, being able to maintain the colony’s economy by itself.
The Negative Force of American Expansionism and Imperialism Many people believe that American Expansionism and Imperialism was a positive force, that it did more good than bad. However, many people disagree with this popular notion. Many good things do come out of it, but the bad ultimately trumps the good. There were several problems between whites and Natives and because of the problems countless people died. To start off, American Expansionism and Imperialism brought isolation to America.

European exploration brought many new ideas and practices to the world. Europeans exploration discoveries brought negative and positive impacts to the society they were building. Throughout history, imperialism has led countries to extend their rule over weaker countries and then colonized those countries to expand their own power. Imperialism allows the ruling countries to use the weaker countries for their resources. Colonizing other countries would then lead to growth and a better reputation for the dominating country. There are many examples of imperialism throughout European history. When many European countries “scrambled” for Africa, it seemed as though Africa had no say in anything. During the 19th century, Europe found a way to use Africa for their own growth and power. Using Africa for their resources, the Europeans colonized Africa without a second thought. European imperialism in Africa had a negative impact because of social disarray, cultural loss, and death it caused.
