What makes a person want to kill or harm another individual? What can make someone reach their breaking point, and want to harm another person? Ted was a special individual who only killed women he had a soft spot for them. Ted Bundy was like a tiger in the wild and women was his prey. When he went out he always went for vulnerable women. Ted would sweet talk them until they trusted him then he would wait until their alone and he would kill them. Ted Bundy was born Theodore Robert Cowell to Eleanor Louise Cowell he was born November 24, 1946. On his birth certificate Lloyd Marshall was listed as his father, and later his mother said another man was his dad. Eleanor was being abused and molested by her father up until she had Theodore. A lot of people believed that her father was the father of her child. For the first three years of Ted’s life he and his mother stayed with her parents in Philadelphia. At that time people would shame you for having an illegitimate child. Eleanor parents decided that they would claim Ted as their own and Eleanor would be his older sister. The rest of the family agreed to go along with it. Although it bothered Ted mother he knew that the decision she made had to be done.

In conclusion I learned that you don’t always have to come from a disruptive background to become a serial killer. You could come from a rich background with good grades and grow up to be a killer. I still couldn’t figure out the reason why Ted only targeted women. The one thing I’ve learned from researching Ted was he was the sweetest person in the world. That’s how they all start out sweet and caring. I didn’t understand how he lived separate lives and how his girlfriend didn’t know. I also couldn’t understand why he didn’t harm his girlfriend if he was targeting women. If Ted was alive today I would ask him why he did it. Why would you harm so many innocent women and not care.
