A Christmas Carol is about an antagonist named Scrooge who is rude and mean. Scrooge’s business partner and friend, Marley, who died seven years ago, was just like Scrooge who absolutely hated Christmas. Marley is the anti-hero in the story a Christmas Carol because he was bitter just like Scrooge, but he decided to come back as a ghost to warn his friend about the three ghosts and that he will need to change his ways.
One night on Christmas Eve Marley comes to visit his old friend Scrooge as a ghost in chains and boxes. Marley tells Scrooge that he is going to be met by three ghosts, which are the allusions (the past, present, and yet to come), and his dream with the ghosts is the only time he can change his actions …show more content…

In his youth years when he was younger, Belle broke up with Scrooge because she noticed that he loved money more than he loved her. The ghost of Christmas present, the king, takes him back into the present. He shows him Tiny Tim, who is the protagonist because of Scrooge’s actions and is also the youngest son of Bob Cratchit, is very ill and could die if the course of events doesn’t change. The king also shows Scrooge how the people are happy for Christmas time and how they love spending time with their family, friends and love having dinner together. The ghost of Christmas yet to come, the shadow, shows Scrooge the future. He is not in his old atmosphere where he hated people who brought up Christmas or who even said “Merry Christmas.” He was very unkind, unhappy, selfish, self-centered, rude, and thought money was more important than anything else.
Now that he has changed because of the three ghosts, he is not mean and he spent the rest of his day with his family. Scrooge even paid Bob, his new business partner, more money than he did when he was a jerk and Tiny Tim doesn’t end up dying. Scrooge even treats Tiny Tim and everyone else with a kind heart. Since Scrooge decided to become a real man, everyone loves to see this side of Scrooge. They all decided to forgive after all that he has done.
My opinion on the movie a Christmas Carol was good, but I didn’t like Scrooge’s personality at all. I felt bad for Bob Cratchit because Scrooge treated him like garbage. When Scrooge went into the future with the ghost of yet to come and saw Tiny Tim, I realized Scrooge had feelings too when he felt bad. I am glad that Scrooge realized he was mistreating everyone and that he had done wrong. I love the new Scrooge who now loves celebrating Christmas and celebrating it with
