This school year I have listed a set of goals. A goal is something we want enough that we make an effort to reach it. This year my goals will help me grow little by little. My first goal is to finish homework. My second goal is to come to school early every day. Last but not least one of my personal goals is to turn of my electronics at home and read at least for 2 hours. This year I want to make sure I finish homework. Homework is one of the most important reasons to your grade. Completing my homework will not only help me get a good grade in the class it will also help me study and remember the lesson from that day. Lastly homework will also help me avoid being the last to give in work because If I were to not do homework I will have
My short-term goals will be completed throughout High School. I am taking a lot of Mathematical classes in High School, this year I am taking Statistics and Business Math. Next year I will either take Calculus or Precalculus. I like taking math courses because there is a lot of math in anyone's life time. Also my career choices require a lot of math, most classes they like to see I have already taken. I plan to get high grades in all of my classes so Colleges will take me seriously. One of my favorite classes is Statistics and I have a decent grade in it too. My activities at school include being in the Woodshop Club. It is very enjoyable for me and I hope to do more in woodworking as I grow older as a hobby. Activities outside of school include mainly Boy Scouts and work. I plan to get my Eagle Scout rank and I might go on to get Eagle Palms. I work as a Concrete laborer and I also do some finishing, it is a very
James Baldwin’s works were influenced by the times in which he lived, as an African American writer he strove for equality and used his pen to work for civil rights through elements of his childhood among other aspects.
I’m a Freshman at Eaton Rapids High School, and I have a lot of goals for these next few years. First off, later this year I am running for class president. I have always wanted to give back and lead my class. Also, next year I want to join the football and baseball teams to get more fit. I have already started to train every day. Later in High school I also hope to get accepted into the National Honor Society.
Goals give you something to measure yourself against and give you direction. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. Additional goals that I have set for myself are to complete homework assignments by the time they are due, reading assigned material before it is discussed in class, doing well in each of my courses this semester, successfully participating in extracurricular activities, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, getting a position as an engineer, and becoming a leader within both the engineering community and the general community. A world-class engineering student woul...
As a highschool student we come up with many goals that we want to achieve each year. My three main goals for my junior year are to get good grades and maintain a good G.P.A. to stay active and play sports, and to start looking for colleges to apply for. Usually, it is hard to achieve all your own personal goals, especially if it involves working extra hard or doing other tedious activities.
When we were younger many of us wished that during the school year there would be cancellations or early dismissals. If the school’s education system in our district uses the year round school schedule then children and teachers as well won't feel overwhelmed due to the lack of vacations the traditional school system has. Now, to answer the question fellow parents of children in Danbury and Danbury citizens there should be year round school for these reasons: avoids teacher and student burnout, students will be more prepared for the future, and test score increase.
This year, I have set the bar high for myself. I want to be a successful student so I can do well in high school. As I prepare, I have a few goals I want to reach academically, athletically, and religiously. I will do my best to not fail any quizzes or tests, win my volleyball league, and pray every day. I may not reach my goals, but if I work hard and try my best at all the goals I wish to reach, that will be success for me. I hope I can become a better student, volleyball player, Catholic, and most of all, a better person.
...ending all my class every day and on time so that I can pass all my classes with good grades, and I have to plan on writing the important information that the instructors give. In addition, I will plan on studying ahead for tests and quizzes and make sure that I understand the necessary materials that will help me pass those tests and quizzes; I will also plan on asking my teachers questions when necessary.
South Shore Schools should have school year round. South Shore should have school all year because it would give kids more time to learn more and in greater depth. Students would have three more months of school each year to learn more and since school is about nine months students would get about one more year of time in school every three years which could help students excel in their studies. Another reason why students at South Shore should have school all year is that during the summer no learning is enforced and students can forget what they learned during the last year. This can cause students to get behind in their studies when they come back to school and then students can get poor grades and learn less because they are overwhelmed.
Most scientists agree that humans are contributing to global warming effects around the world. The existence of the polar ice caps and the rate at which they are melting are threatened by global warming. This threat is leading scientists to use geothermal energy in our everyday lives in hopes of preserving the polar ice caps. In order for people to thinking about helping to preserve them, they need to understand polar ice caps. Because polar ice caps are melting, there are many issues occurring in our world such as natural disasters. People are impacting the melting of the ice caps but, the ice caps are also impacting people as well. One alternative to using fossil fuels is geothermal energy. Geothermal energy can change the way we use resources from the earth forever, and potentially slow the rate of global warming.
My first goal was to be more respectful to teachers. I can say I did a better job on that this year. I wasn't perfect, I still gave attitude and got sent down to the office twice for being disrespectful. I didn't get suspended this year and the two office referrals were during the first semester. After that I wasn't sent down to the office at all. This year was a better year for me when it came to behavior but the other two goals...they didn't go so well.
I plan on making sure that I am meeting and surpassing my expectations in my class with also meaning that my grade in good standing. I plan on learning knowledge and skills in the classroom that I would be able to use for my other classes, life experiences, and future career as well. It will give more knowledge which broaden my horizons with thinking in different aspects throughout life and in my future career as well. I plan on accepting challenges where I would be put to test where I must put my knowledge that I learned in the classroom to my future class, life situations and future career.
Setting goals is the most important thing you can do in your life. Without goal's you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and trouble finding a career that will provide for you. Without these three things, achieving your goals is going to be one of the toughest tasks in the years to come.
Another goal may be learning how to walk, sitting down, and standing up after someone has been injured. The most common goal is losing weight, especially around the beginning of the year with everybody making new year’s resolutions. One last goal is one that is
