School uniforms should be enforced. The school uniform statistics for the Department of Education states that 23% of schools in the country have already enforced uniforms (School Uniform Statistics). School uniforms cause a debate every day on whether they should be forced in schools around the country or not. Schools around the U.S. have already started enforcing uniforms. Uniforms bring a lot of benefits to the communities around the schools that are effected by the uniforms. The benefits uniforms bring are that the students have a better educational environment. Everyone wants their families to go to a school with a great learning environment. The uniforms also save the families that have kids in school money. If uniforms are continued to be enforced, families will save money, parents’ lives will become easier, and it will better the education of students everywhere.
One good help that uniforms bring is that they save families a lot of money. With uniforms you could buy the uniform shirts at Peebles for about fifteen dollars each (Peebles). Whereas, a designer polo shirt would cost you about sixty dollars for just one of their shirts. With that amount parents could buy four shirts from Peebles instead

School uniforms should be enforced throughout the country because they would help families save money, make lives easier, and better the education of students everywhere. The families in the community around the school will save money because of cheap clothing, and hand down clothes. Uniforms would make life easier by eliminating stress and helping out with teacher discipline. Enforcing school uniforms would benefit all students and I believe everyone wants
Public school K-12 must implement school uniforms across the nation to bring the benefits of a decent education system. There will be less bulling, which will enable students to feel safe. There will be no gang related issues. Parents will not have to pay lots of money for their kids’ clothes. Also parents will not have to worry about what the kids are wearing to school. There will be less stolen valuables from the students. Students will be disciplined causing them to focus more on school, preparing them for a bright future. Females will not be sexually harassed and not bring unwanted attention. There will be less peer pressure to wear clothes that is in style or brand name. School uniforms must be implemented by public schools, K-12, because of the benefits it that come along.
It is a great idea for schools to implement a policy on school uniforms because statistics show that students who wear uniforms make better grades, the male students are not going to be distracted by what the female students are (or aren't) wearing, and students feel a sense of fairness with one another as they are all wearing the same things and when students are at one with one another their confidence soars, which leads to doing better at school. Student uniforms helps with reducing the amount of bullying therefore the students who would normally be bullied now have a much better disposition while at school, which will lead to a healthier safer learning environment. When students feel less threatened at school, they can concentrate better which leads to better grades. The schools which have an enforced uniform policy have properly dressed students. When teenage girls, want to impress teenage boys dress inappropriately it causes a lot of distractions and trouble. The girls are also envious of on one another so unrest is caused in the classroom throughout the day, not only with the boys who are looking at the girls, but also at the girls who are jealous of the ones getting the attention.
“They shouldn't because they should be able to express themselves and choose what to wear. Also, they should be able to wear what they want and be free to wear what they want. They should also be able to share their personalities with their classmates and family members. ” (should kids). Some students can’t express themselves with art or music so, there way is through clothing like: buttons, band t-shirts, etc. In private schools it would be easier to enforce since there parents are paying extra for a better education. Public schools on the other hand would be a lot harder to enforce especially because some students don’t like school. Which if uniforms were enforced would make students hate school even more.
You are less likely to be picked on or “judged” by other people if you are wearing uniforms. Because when those uniforms come on you are looked upon as equal. On the other hand when you wear your own clothes there is always the kid the does not have the “cool” clothes, or their clothes are not good enough, don’t match, doesn't follow the dress code. But suddenly that all goes away with a uniform.
In conclusion, I feel that school uniforms are something all schools should really consider implementing in their policy. All of these points made show that they could be budget-friendly, help children focus and lower the barriers children can build up because of merely what they are wearing.
Overall, enforcing the policy of school uniforms would have and has negative effects on students and their families. School uniforms should not be required or enforced in school and the extra expenses should be cut from the bills of the students being forced to wear them
for the past decade, schools, parents and students have clashed over the issue of regarding to attire. middle schools should require uniforms because It keeps gangs and violence from forming,Cost less money than trendy clothes, Lastly uniforms keeps kids from getting bullied I think that schools should have uniforms.
Uniforms should be required in schools because they create a sense of uniformity, camaraderie, and a sense of ownership. Without the stress of competition and violence, students are able to concentrate on their studies and enjoy being in school. Fashion in school has been one of the most noted reasons for students being bullied or humiliated. Having uniforms diminish economic and social barriers between students.
School uniforms are a boiling conversation point these days. There are so many well-built points of view about what route parents, students, and superintendents wish to go in. It has been disputed that school uniforms have the potential to make a school safer, that uniforms reduce harassment or self-esteem issues, and that uniforms return the focus to the students' learning. I disagree. I, in fact think that school uniforms do not help make our schools a more secure place, I think that they do not revisit the center of attention to student's education - they just shifted where the attention was previous, and that they won’t help cut down on harassment or self- esteem issues in school.
Did you know that as many as twenty-five percent of the nation?s pubic elementary, middle, and junior high schools have successfully implemented a school uniform policy? (Isaacson, 1998) School uniforms greatly benefit both the students and faculty by creating an atmosphere in which the students are able to get the most out of their education. I believe that all students should wear school uniforms regardless of whether or not the school is public. Below are clear-cut arguments in favor of school uniforms.
I don’t think children or teens should have to wear school uniforms. It deprives them of their freedom of speech. They should have the right to wear what they want when they want. The uniforms are degrading and appalling. Everything would be dull and boring if everyone looked the same and wore the same stuff! Whatever happened to our U.S. Constitution? Some kids become stressed out and could get depressed because they cannot choose what they can wear, In Our own country? The land of the free and the home of the brave and we can’t even choose what we wear? The effect would be: students becoming angry and violent, and worst case scenario, suicide.
All individuals struggle with discovering who they are and who they may want to be in the future. School environment, either negatively or positively, impacts the result of this greatly. Uniforms in the learning environment have become a highly debated subject all across the country. Although some individuals believe school uniforms have a positive affect, those people should understand the negatives because uniforms promote appearance over character, lower student’s self-esteem, and conflict with the right of expression.
That is one less item that parents have to worry about. Just having to buy school uniforms instead of a whole new wardrobe after every new yea could help several families save money. It is said that having uniforms could potentially help
Finally, Joyce will summarise our arguments, convincing you, without a doubt, that school uniforms MUST be enforced in all schools. Point 1 (Brian): Having school uniforms will greatly lift the feeling of teamwork and sense of school spirit and belonging, and is a benefit for students. According to SafeSchools.edublogs.org, school uniform programs make it easier for students to develop a sense of belonging at school because greater attention is given to who they are instead of what they wear. School uniforms will make students feel that they are part of school and not whatever new trend they are wearing, which is beneficial to them. Another example is from an article on www.rjmccarthy.com, which tells us that logos on school uniforms enhance spirit and pride, and creates a more “community” feel among students.
I strongly agree that school uniforms are necessary because it creates and identity, avoid the potential of bullies and insults, saving time and money and helps students to be prepared for adulthood and in working
