Truly, the book deserves the Schneider Family Book Award. It showed me and made me understand how it feels like to have an autism. It recognizes most of the social problems people with autism like instances when they cannot look people in the eye during conversations, and when they cannot express how they feel, collectively people misinterpret their actions. Not only did the story portrayed real-life scenarios about people with autism, but it also displayed the harsh reality and the difficulty of having a child with autism. It recognizes the efforts of parents in trying to build a relationship with their child, specifically when they are having a hard time knowing if they are showering enough love and support to their child with autism.
