Scenario one stated many different problems with a variety of different solutions. This scenario is very close to me as I am in almost the exact same situation as scenario one describes. The situation is ,I am currently working for a company and have been with this company for eleven years thus far. I have been taking advantage of the tuition reimbursement program that the company offers its employees however, I have recently been offered a supervisorial role in a competitive company. They are willing to relocate me and increase my pay by fifteen thousand dollars. Most people in the world thinks that a degree is required almost everywhere. In today’s society it is often thought that if people do not go to college they will not succeed. In Owen and Sawhill’s article “Should Everyone Go To College?”the author respond to people who either go to college and actually earn a degree or people who do not go to college and are actually saving money. The major reason that college is not always the idea for students and their families is the cost. “The cost of college matters as well: the more someone has to pay to attend, the lower the net benefit of attending.” (Owen and Sawhill, 2013, p. 2 ). Imagine two sisters living in the same household—both have grown up with the same parents, in the same place, and under the same conditions. Unfortunately for the sisters, their family has developed a pattern: The issues of the previous generation have been passed down with the next generation, creating a legacy of substance abuse, an unstable home environment, suicide, and mental illness. In this setting, the sisters must react to the troubles they witness around them daily, for their parents and other family are unable to shield the girls from the fallout of their emotional instability. The story of his transformation from benevolent and hopeful to jaded and angry is one that appears repeatedly in the human world, as we fight to overcome the various forces working against us, some of which have been at play since before we were born. Many people, like one of the sisters discussed previously, are unable to...
