Recommended: Qualities of an effective teacher

In previous years, the school did not have a well respected reputation before and after the moving into the new school in 2010. The experiences at the school however was one of many pillars that helped established my foundation in becoming an effective teacher thanks to the exceptional staff of Samuel Fels who not just fostered an academic environment but fostered an emotionally supportive environment. The experience from Fels made me an underdog during my collegiate career. However, there’s a grittiness that students in Fels would leave away from. There are some students who do, and they are given the tools they need to make it through. The students at Baker are just happy to have someone show an interest in what they are doing. I saw it in their eyes when I gave them praise on something they did during the time I was there. That praise can carry a student along way which to me is rewarding in it self.
