The department of English at City of Medicine teaches students to have outstanding skills that are required for all types of learning. The department of English aspires to make students better readers, critical thinkers and progressive writers. Many CMA students seek a more advance English which is why they take AP English 3 and AP Literature. CMA is focused on preparing you for college and did you know that 50 to 60 percent of SAT and ACT is English content? The teachers in the English department prepare students as early as freshman year to make them feel comfortable and prepared when they actually take the test junior or senior year. It is never hard to stay focus in English class when you have hands on teachers with excellent activities.
