As part of HOMI’s Alumni Stories, I got the pleasure of sitting down with Sam Dosch. Sam is a recent alumni of the University of St. Thomas and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Real Estate Studies. Although still a young buck in the real estate game, his experience and knowledge of the industy surpases many of the old timers I’ve gotten to know over the years. Sam Dosch is definitely someone I’d recommend you reach out to and connect with. He is humble, motivated and genuinely has the desire to connect with and help you in any way possible.
Here’s Sam Dosch’s Story: Sam grew up in the small town of Osceola, WI and chose to follow in his sister’s footsteps and attend the University of St. Thomas. Sam’s first thought when entering

...story of AP Frank, Julie, Audrey, Sam and the others can be any number of students they may know. More importantly the book offers readers a chance to also evaluate their own experiences in high school. It is recommended that potential readers of Robbins’ expose’ recall or identify a student in the community or within themselves who are goal driven or preoccupied with success as they read. Perhaps from this perspective the reader may gain an insider perspective to the true culture of academia around them.

Buying or selling a house or an apartment is one of the biggest decisions of a person’s life. And when selling or establishing a price for real estate, people seek out real estate agents to do the dirty work. A real estate agent has to convince a prospective homeowner that he or she is trustworthy and knowledgeable. In many ways, the agent acts as a counselor to individuals and families about to embark on a huge commitment. Real estate agents have a thorough knowledge or real estate market in their community. They
Sam’s high school is like any stereotypical high school with it’s various social crowds. The popular crowd in this movie is composed of mostly jocks and cheerleaders. These adolescents seem to be the most physically attractive and have the wealthiest parents.
Born in 1863 to a Presbyterian minister and his wife, she grew up in a very tight-knit family as the oldest of five children. In 1880, the family moved to Massachusetts where they settled and built a home. Mary’s father wanted the best for his daughter, and designed and supervised Mary’s education until she graduated in 1882. Upon graduation, Mary attended Smith College with an advanced standing as a sophomore. In 1893, Mary’s sister passed away and Mary dropped out of college for a season, taking her classes through private lessons at home. Mary returned to Smith College in 1884 as a senior and graduated with a concentration on philosophy and classics. In 1886, two years after graduation from college, the Calkins family went to Europe for a holiday that lasted for sixteen months. Mary continued to expand her knowledge of the classics and upon returning to America, her father arranged an interview with the President of...
The start if college is like the end of one’s childhood. Yet I had no intension of letting that go when I woke up yesterday at 7:00 am. Still, like high school, my mom dropped me off and picked me up; copping almost the exact same routine from the four years I spent in high school. Just as I thought this ought to be the easiest way of transportation, my mom proved me wrong once we reached the University of Washington’s parking lot.
At the University of Missouri Sam majored in Economics. He could not really afford to attend school so he worked extra hard to get the money. Sam waited tables in exchange for meals, lifeguarded at the school pool, and also delivered newspapers. In Paul Toughmay’s “Who Gets to Graduate,” he follows a young first year college student, Vanessa Brewer, explaining her doubts, fears, and emotions while starting her college journey. As a student, at the University of Texas Brewer feels small and as if she doesn’t belong. Seeking advice from her family she calls her mom but after their conversation Brewer feels even more discouraged. Similar to Brewer I have had extreme emotions, doubts, and fears my freshman year in college.
