Saint Sebastian is known as the Daring Christian Soldier, he lived a long time ago so there are not many facts about when he was born and who were his parents. Saint Sebastian was born into some nobleness and he joined the Roman Imperial army. The reason he joined the Roman Imperial army was to keep his cover as a noble pagan, he did that so he could minister to persecuted Christians. While he was in the army he worked his way up ranks really fast and became an imperial officer. Saint Sebastian spent most of his time encouraging and converting many prisoners of the Roman army. Saint Christopher is my favorite saint for a multitude of reasons. Let's just get the easy one out of the way which is that both he and I share the same name. With that aside, Saint Christopher is also my favorite saint as he is the patron saint of transportation and travel. My family and I enjoy traveling and exploring and before every trip, I say a short prayer to Saint Christopher , and not once has our family gotten into any major issues traveling. Saint Francis of Assisi was an Italian monk who founded the monastic order of the Franciscans. He was from a wealthy family and spent most of his youth carousing the streets of Assisi with other young nobles. After fighting in the war between Assisi and Perugia, he contracted an illness and had his first mystical experience. After he was healed, Francis had another mystical experience while praying in a neglected church: “After a period of prayer and meditation, Francis heard the voice of Jesus coming from a nearby crucifix: ‘Francis go, repair my house, which, as you see, is falling completely to ruin’.” It was this call that inspired Francis to leave Assisi, determined to live more simply with his fellow monks.

Composer Bach was raised in a family with musicians that were talented as well. Sebastian Bach’s father, Johann Ambrosius was a well-known man in his hometown in Eisenach. Ambrosius was the one that taught his youngest son Bach how to play the violin, Bach became an expert at playing the violin as he got older. He also had a beautiful voice and was part of his church choir. At such a young age Bach was a gifted kid, he learned many learning materials; such as studying latin and other courses. Bach had a strong belief as a Lutheran, having that type of faith motivated him for the future, as he worked on his musical career. As Bach became older, at the age of 10, he had been through so much at that age. He had lost both of his parents two months apart from each other. Bach later than moved to Ohrduff, Germany to live with his older brother Johann Christoph.
