Rude Magic- I chose this song because it takes me back to my grade 6 year. Mme. would always sing/play this song during french class. Since grade 6 was one of my favourite school years of all time, just hearing this song makes me remember all of the fun times i had. Blank Space Taylor Swift- The reason I picked this song is because on new years last year it was the first song that played in 2015. On that night I was at my neighbor's house for a new years party. I had many friends there and that was an awesome night. Whenever this song comes on the radio I think of my friends and that super fun time. Bo$$ Fifth Harmony- This song represents me because “apparently” I can be very bossy at times. I just really like taking control in situations …show more content…
because that way I know we will get the job done well. Though in my opinion, i’m not bossy, I simply have very good leadership. And whenever I do boss people around I have good intentions. Pet Cinder- To me this song is about my pet cat cinder. Cinder is my very precious black cat who I hold very dear to me. Whenever I hear about this song, it reminds me of how lucky I am to have such a cute furry friend! Home Dierks Bentley- I chose this song because I have a dog named Bentley.
This song reminds me of the day we first got him around 5 years ago. My mom is a vet, and one day when she was at work this couple came in with Bentley in the intention to put him down. But since there was next to nothing wrong with him my mom told them she would keep him. And ever since Bentley has had a happy and loving home. I Will Always Love You Whitney Houston- This song is a message to my cat and dog because I love them very much. Ever since I have had them, I have loved them very much. I mean what more can you ask for then a fuzzy friend that can't talk or interrupt you! Three Little Birds Bob Marley- This song was one of the first ballet dances that I performed in a recital. Everyone in the dance were colourful little birds that pranced around the stage. I was a small blue bird and I remember how much fun I had had doing that dance piece. To this day I still love doing Ballet all thhe time and i always look back on that dance piece with a smile. Dancing Queen ABBA- Obviously I chose this song because I am a dancing queen! But seriously though I have been doing dance for 9 years! I am very passionate about dance and I feel this song really has a lot of meaning to me. I love dance and I can't imagine a near future that does not involve dance in
it.
- Explain briefly what your selected ballad is about and the reasons why you picked it.
I have chosen to do two songs waiting on a woman by Brad Presley witch the whole song makes a gender stereotype about woman always making a man wait. The second song I choose to do is George Straits A fathers Love which enforces it’s hard to be a father and what a good strong dad role model is. Both songs spoke to me in different ways.
My first song I´ve chosen is Sean McGee, song titled My Story. Mainly the song is about him facing different struggles, obstacles, and all the horrible things and situations he´s been in throughout his life. I can connect to this song and the lyrics for many reasons. One of his lines were ¨Do you know how it feels to be left out in the rain¨? And I have faced times like this when I feel like no one is there or have my back, and in the line he´s trying express how it feels to have nobody and be all alone. Also throughout this song he expresses how everyday you wake up your face with something rather it's just a minor issue or something that will greatly impact your life.
The piano is what sets the mood of the whole piece, the beginning starts off slow and gloomy sounding, then the vocalist begins to sing and confirms that this song is going to be unhappy. Although the song is gloomy sounding, I still like it, the piano has a pleasant melody and it is calming. It sounds like a song that should be played in a movie when a loved one dies and everyone’s moored at a funeral.
Whenever I play this song, I can’t help but remember my childhood. My parents struggled financially but, that was never an excuse for them. They always took my brothers and I out on small adventures. One of the most memorable memories I get when I play this song is when my parents would take us out to park to have a barbecue, while my brothers and I ran through the park till we became tired and hungry. Whenever I need a break from the world, I listen to this song just to remind myself of those special moments, even though those days won’t ever return, they are memories I will always treasure.
The song that I choose is one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite singing groups. The name of this song is No Scrubs by TLC. I have always liked this song since I was little and would listen to it with my friends. Believe it or not this song actually helped me out when picking out a boyfriend. The lyrics to this song are quite simple I’ll explain what they mean to me.
Perhaps the only song I've ever been able to attribute as my favorite song is Kuroi Ledge by A Lot Like Birds, and it holds an immense amount of meaning to me. I discovered this song searching for new music as I always did, however there was quite a difference with this song, this band, I could listen to them for hours on end. This song not only awakened something in me, it helped me face some of my worst possible fears, but some of my worst realities as well: abandonment, suicide, and the idea of finding a certain beauty in tragedy. Kuroi Ledge, literally translates from Japanese to Black Ledge, we see the danger in this, the metaphor of a dark ledge tempting us to go further, and
"Time Will Tell" by Gregory Alan Isakov. This song is kind of sad, but it always reminds me that you must move on. That no matter what the world keeps spinning, and everything will be alright. " Time, she says, / 'There's no turning back, / keep your eyes on the tracks' / Through the fields, somewhere there's blue / Oh, time will tell, she'll see us through" (Isakov verse 1).
One of my all-time favorite songs that tells a story is, "Love Like Crazy," by Lee Brice. This song tells about how Lee Brice went through life and how he made it through with the love of his life. "Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse ‘I love you,’ go to work, do your best, don`t out smart your common sense, never let your praying knees get lazy, and love like crazy," is a meaningful line from the lyrics of the song. This line of the lyrics tells how a person can get through life through the good and bad times. More people in this world should take this song as advice for life. I have listened to this song over a thousand times, and I get more out of it each time I listen to it. I relate to this song`s story because I am living this story right now in my life. I was seventeen when I found the love of my life. Everyone around me told me I was crazy, and I had no clue what love was. I have proven them wrong so far because I have been with the love of my life for four years now. Also, I am a child grew up with nothing and I have learned that I have to work for what I what in life. I have worked since I was fifteen, and I have loved every minute of it. I also am one who will follow my dreams even if everyone around me is telling me that I cannot do it, or I am not able to do it. This song`s story has been an inspiration to me in many
“I won’t let go” by Rascal Flatts is meant to represent the deep bond most sages form with their hero.
dance-to-me kind of music enhances my joy that much more. I love to study to classical
Out of many songs my favorite song is Yakety Yak by The Coasters I listen to this song all the time. I love it because it has lyrics that sound like something I would do. Although Byron makes fun of me for listening to the song so much. I also showed it to Rufus but he didn't like it but I hope you like it.
SONG ABOUT is my favorite movie. One reason why it is my favorite, I can relate to
This song just reminded me of a whole bunch of beach movie or old casino movies. It reminds me of a woman stealing something and walking out and getting away with it then, she meets her man and runs off. Actually, it mostly reminded me of a show I use to watch. I love watching shows of the past
When Selena’s voice sighed, "And I still can’t believe that you came up to me and said I love you," she was consoling hearts, letting them know that love does come true. To the listeners that do not have someone in their heart, "Dreaming of You" is a beautiful song that still touches the senses. Music can move a person in incredible ways, whether by healing, inspiring, saddening, or even angering. But when a song touches in a positive way, it imprints a lasting memory of itself in the heart and soul.
