Matthew,Nick,Dylan and I came up with the idea to feed cats for our complex machine. We had to do a Rube Goldberg project which accomplishes the goal of uses simples machines to form a complex machine to do a simple task. Our machine has seven different energy transformations. The first one is a marble that has potential energy which transforms into kinetic Energy. Next the marble transfers the energy into a hot wheel ford f-150 which then rolls down the ramp. After the ramp it will hit a miniature smart car which then transfers the energy into a pepper shaker. The pepper shaker rolls to hit dominoes and they fall. After that the last domino falls it bumps into a marble which falls and knocks the can with food in it into the cat's food bowl.
As we worked on our Rube Goldberg Machine, we uncovered the physics that was taking place. Many aspects of physics come into play when building and testing a Rube Goldberg Machine. Some examples are Newton’s three laws, collisions, conservation of momentum, efficiencies, forces, energy, work, simple machines, and projectiles.
put the hole in the conch and what it could be used for. Piggy is also clever
The original children’s music group The Wiggles formed in 1991 and had four members including Anthony Field, Murray Cook, Gregory Page and Jeffery Fatt. Page, Field and Cook met at Macquarie University while studying early childhood education and wrote children’s songs as projects. Fatt and Field knew each other as they were both in the same band The Cockroaches, eventually Fatt joined the group to record the first Wiggles album which was the beginning of The Wiggles.
Plankton has once given up on snatching the formula, so he made a restraunt called "The Chum Bucket". Plankton poisoned everyone that ate his food, yet forced people to keep eating at his restraunt. Meanwhile his business slowed down, he decided it was time to take action and steal the formula once again! Plankton and his wife, Karrin, created a contraption in the Chum Bucket hats they had made for the customers. The hats were made to fall and cover the customer's face and mind control them through what Plankton tells them to do. As Plankton brainwashes all his customers, he tells them to get the formula. Spongebob saves the day and releases the customers from the mind play. Plankton's business gets shut down, so he tries something else once again.
One day Tom was going to his job at welding with robots. When Tom got there he asked his boss how can we make these machines more efficient. I do not know how they are going to do that but someday we will perfect the perfect machines that will weld perfect on cars. Well get going and start thinking of some ideas that would help us improve the robotic arms. Then the next day tom arrived at work he has an idea that can work. He made up a program that can make the welds more precise. They tried the program on the machines and it worked perfectly and it did not have any flaws. So after that they decided to keep the program . Tom was paid more money the company made more money. How has robotic welding made welding more efficient.
This essay will talk about the Rube Goldberg project that I, Chandler Works have completed. The materials that I have used in this project is a car, dominos, a marble, blocks, and a bell. I used paper towel roles as the ramp so that everything can travel in its path. We also used little pieces of cardboard as a stopper, so the car or marble doesn't keep rolling after it hits the dominoes. At the end of the project, the dominoes are supposed to knock over and hit the bell to make it ring.
The reason this experiment got those results is because of the way the catapult launched the marshmallow. The energy transferred from user to the ruler than the marshmallow is called kinetic energy. The meaning of kinetic energy is “energy which a body possesses by virtue of being in motion.” While when the marshmallow was stationary it had potential energy. The user transferred energy to the catapult then to the marshmallow which travelled across the room. Each launch the marshmallow was given a different amount of energy by the user. Even though this experiment used rubber bands they weren't used to help the launch marshmallow but keep it together. So that meant there was no elastic potential energy involved which could've insisted in this
Unless you live under a rock, you probably know what a fidget spinner is. The pure mention of a fidget spinner makes some overcome with nostalgia, and others shudder in dread of the era when fidget spinners had a chokehold on the world. So, recently, schools have been banishing fidget spinners from campus grounds. Schools banning fidget spinners is a perfectly fair and justifiable decision because they can be distracting, start fights, and potentially injure students. To begin with, fidget spinners can distract students and interfere with learning.
Claw machines are not enjoyable arcade games, but rather sinister devices designed to take advantage of young and naive children. The single objective of these machines is to increase profit margins for their owners, who rig the machines in order to do so. As Edwards explains, “...the claw machine is programmed to have a strong grip only part of the time.” That
Caine used his basketball goal and saved his prize winning he got from Sharkey pizza to build his first arcade game. He was proud of his work and created a soccer game. He made tickets and used his old toys for his arcade. He created a claw machine as one of his inventions. Caine used a cash register, gift bags, and prize table in his arcade. Caine creativity empowered him to transform cardboard boxes into an environment of amusement. The imagination of one child encouraged individuals to foster support for a young
5. Building a snowman is fairly simple, all you need is some snow, sticks, a carrot, buttons, and a hat if wanted. The first step is to roll up the snow into three balls of snow that get bigger everytime you make another. Once that is done the three balls of snow will be stacked ontop of eachother with the largest on the bottom, going to the smallest on the top. Then put in the sticks on the sides of the snowman to give him arms, put the buttons on the front in a vertical line down the center. Last but not least, stick the carrot where the nose would go, and put the hat on top to finish it off.
First Robotics Competition, or FRC, is a progeam designed for highschool studenbts. Where in they are given a challenge then recieve 6 weeks to design, build and program a brand new robot, before heading off to competetion. This year the game was First Power up, where teams could deliver power cubes to either the small switches, the massive scale, or place them in the exchange for power ups. The robot, "TacocaT", the NERDS designed for this is an inventive and well desinged rbobot, from its use of chasis space, to its pnuematic claw and arm.
“Winner!” shouted one of the counselors. The counselor came up to me and raised my hand. I was so excited because that was the first time I had ever won a game of scatterball. I had a huge grin on my face and was so proud of myself.
Unraveling the underlying mystery of this computational creature was a simple yet fascinating endeavor. The machine was beyond repair and I lacked the sufficient resources to alleviate the wounds of the miniature mainframe. While the project was a failure, I became curious about more intricate infrastructures.
Minecraft can be described as an open-world, “sandbox” style game, which provides an opportunity for players to choose their own paths and methods of play. Created by Mojang AB founder Marcus “Notch” Persson and released November 2011, Minecraft aims to provide an alternative to traditional games that typically follow a linear progression of events and constrain the player(s) in a limited environment. Minecraft is available on a number of platforms, including computers, game consoles, and mobile devices running Android or iOS. Since its release, Minecraft for the computer has exceeded 16.8 million sales (at time of writing) making it the best-selling PC game of all time, and total sales for all platforms have exceeded 54 million copies, making
