Recommended: Principles of art design essay

The hyperrealistic sculptures of Ron Mueck are so incredible visually, that it is unimaginable that his work is not that of a real person. One of my favorite pieces by Ron is, Woman with Shopping, which he created in 2013. The dimensions are 44 ½” x 18 ⅛” x 11 ⅞”, and has a mixture of mediums. He uses a variety of visual elements, principles of design and is an extremely talented individual. Few would argue that his work is painstaking, but quite breathtaking. In the Woman with Shopping you see a new mother carrying grocery bags in both hands while her infant is wrapped up in the front of her long coat looking up at her. The lighting on to the flowers causes the flowers to pop out more than other items due to the slight color difference; this pop out affection connects to the perfume name “poppy.” The lighting makes her stand out, making her the overall focus. The audience grabs an idea of how the flowers smell and wants to be involved in the peace that her body language portrays. The woman when wearing this perfume receives that power but still have a gentle image. The lighting being her power, which causes her to stand out, gives the audience a reason to receive the strong light in their life also.
