Is a death of two lovers romantic or just a tragedy? “Romeo and Juliet” is a good answer to this question. There were plenty of things they could have done differently, in order to live happily ever after. Romeo could have refrained from killing Tybalt, or Juliet could have denied her father and told him of the marriage. Not to mention that Romeo should have just obeyed and stayed in Mantua. The main thing that could have been done differently was that they should’ve thought these things through. Tybalt was a furious and angry man, but he wouldn’t have killed Mercutio. That was until Romeo interfered in their duel, leading Tybalt to accidently kill him. Furious, Romeo killed Tybalt and was banned from Verona. Romeo then found himself in …show more content…

He had told Juliet that if she didn’t show up that she could live out on the street. Juliet could’ve prevented from faking her death if she had only told her father no and lived with Romeo. Yes, her father would be very upset and she would miss him, but he would have forgiven her. They could’ve been happy about Romeo and Juliet being together and made a treaty with the two families. Because of the sudden news of marriage to another man, Juliet became desperate. She went to Friar Lawrence to seek help; there she planned a fake death. Friar believed it would have helped the families become close .Only problem; Romeo never received information of this. Even after Benvolio told him to stay in Mantua he left, I can understand that he heard of his wife being dead. If only he had been patient he would’ve been told that it was faked. Not killing Tybalt, Juliet leaving her family, Romeo staying in Mantua, where all ways they could have had that beautiful love story’s ending. Nothing was just thought about, they only thought of each other, and not the consequences. They were careless, reckless, and too young to have understood the world around them. Their love was true and pure, too pure for the hatred that was drifting through their lives. Thus, leading them down fate’s cruel ending for the star-crossed
