When doing without thinking about consequences, people tend to make big or small decisions that can affect their lifetime dramatically. A example of this occurring through the text is the play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare where Romeo Montague Demonstrates urgent impulsiveness. In the play Romeo states being in love with Rosaline and quickly forgets her once seeing Juliet. Romeo first laid eyes on Juliet at the Capulet's Ball where there it was love at first sight and forgetting about his once love Rosaline. Romeo then feels that hes fell in love over again and states “But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,Who is already sick and pale with grief,That thou her maid art far more fair than she: Be not her maid, since she is envious;Her vestal livery is but sick and green And...
At the start of the play we see that Romeo is in love with Roseline and that he only talks about her but when he meets Juliet at the party he totally forgets Roseline and falls in love with Juliet.

Through his motivation to find love, Romeo, a dynamic character, changes from a subdued individual, into a jovial lovesick character. In the early sections of the play, Romeo is in love with a woman named Rosaline who does not reciprocate those feelings. This leads him to drone on about, “sad hours “ (I.i.146) and how he would, “rather weep” (I.i.167) because he is, “out of her favour” (I.i.154). The importance of Romeo’s affection for each of his women is essential to address. The feelings that Romeo possesses inevitably leads him to become sorrowful over rejection but then, optimistic for Juliet. Despite the formidable obstacles they must overcome, their intense love survives because they do not just give up on their love. Prior to seeing Juliet, Romeo had intense feelings for Rosaline. These feelings were not felt by Rosaline though, so nothing came out of it. These lines are spoken by Friar Lawrence who is referring to Romeo as a waverer.

Strong and independent, Juliet seeks to escape her family’s will to marry her off to Paris, a kinsman of the Prince. Fate ties these adolescents’ lives together binding them to witness the ill-fortunes of Romeo and Juliet’s love. Romeo and Juliet prove themselves woefully impulsive through their words and actions, which ultimately lead them along a series of unfortunate mishaps.
