The Romeo and Juliet movies, plays, and videos will always be different. For this essay the focus will just be three, a play and two movies. For example a difference between all of them is the eras, and something all of them have in common is the dialogue. The contrast of the way every story, play, movie, and book changes with the people who creates them, and how the see and think of the play. An example of this is someone could view it as a love slash a comedy, and then someone could see it as a comedy slash tragedy.

In the three versions that will be focused on, there are differences but there are also similarities. An example of this is Romeo and Juliet always die, with Juliet it’s not definite how she dies but she always dies after Romeo, and Romeo always dies first, it’s always with some type of poison to. The second example of similarities is the dialogue it is always the same in everyone of these versions. The final example that will be discussed is the fights and deaths. The Montague's and Capulet's start a fight in the beginning in all the versions, as well as the people that die in them like Benvolio and Tybalt. Alas when there are similarities there is always differences no matter what no two things can ever be completely identical.

Tybalt does not kill Benvolio intentionally which kind of dwindles the battle between them, who's going to stab stab someone and just walk away laughing especially on an accident. In this version Romeo is a wuss and can not for the world of him defend himself, thus The action is greatly diminished to an all time low. This version also dress’ in the Victorian era clothing, which helps generate the old feel to the story line of Romeo and Juliet. This version is full of antiquity, which allows for truer vision of how Shakespeare would see
