The Rolling Stones sheer genius is reflected in their recordings. For example, Exile on Main Street, which is widely regarded as one of the best albums of Rock and Roll was recorded in two weekends in one room in a NYC studio. While only one of the songs made the radio (Brown Sugar), the writing and performance is regarded as one of epic proportions. The Rolling Stones to this day are thought of as one of the most iconic and influential bands in the history of rock and roll.
