The logistic function is very important for successful business activities. Without logistics the business will not be able to compete business world. The important components of logistics are Transportation, inventory management and warehouse management. The managers need to know the cost identity with the business logistics.
To be a successful business and to compete in business market a good manager need to minimize the cost of every activity. The study of the Logistics is very interesting where the models of business can have good solution. (Dr.D.Ghosh, 2015)
The progress in transportation and logistic improves the moving load, delivery speed, service quality, operation costs, the usage of facilities. Transportation takes a crucial part in the control of logistic. A strong logistics and transportation needs the best model of distribution of the goods. The main purpose of the paper is to define the role of transportation in logistics for cost minimization and how to save to cost though good transportation. This research is to define the basic views of logistics and its various applications and the relationships between logistics and transportation to reduce and cost and maximize the response time.
