Farhan Akhtar was last seen in ‘Rock on 2’ which failed to impress the audience unlike its previous part. It’s been a year that we haven't seen Farhan on the big screen. He was in the news for his divorce with his wife Adhuna, success of his film ‘Raees’ as a producer and his alleged relationship with Shradha Kapoor, but people did not get to see his magic on the silver screen. However, he would now be seen in Mohit Suri’s next film in which he will play the role of a boxer. Mohit Suri’s latest release ‘Half Girlfriend’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor did good business at the box office and he already has another subject for his next film. The film is said to revolve around the relationship of a father and a son with the backdrop of boxing. The film will be loosely inspired from his own life. …show more content…
Mohit lost his mother when he was eight and his father became a single dad at the age of 36. He has an emotional connect with his dad and the same will be depicted in the film. The film will showcase the struggle of a single dad. The film will have Farhan play double roles, one when he is a son and the other when he becomes a father to a son. Mohit is collaborating with Producer Goldie Behl for this film. They have discussed the script with Farhan and he has not liked the project but has also given a go ahead to be a part of it. Mohit is on a break post ‘Half Girlfriend’ and once he returns back from the US after a two week’s break he will commence the work on this project. Mohit did agree that the film plot has some similarities with 1979 Hollywood film ‘The Champ’ but this film will be unique and different in its own way as it will have Mohit’s personal life touch to it. Farhan has already trained himself once for an athlete’s film and he completely nailed the film with its performance, to get into

Bass Pro offers a wide variety of products and services allowing them to acquire shares in many markets. Bass pro’s Functional strategy would be that of a people strategy regarding the experience as an attraction and from an HR perspective. Bass Pro’s employee makeup is that of a diverse company and sometimes includes experienced and uniquely skilled craftsman. This type of recruitment often difficult and costly due to the lack of supply in skilled craftsman like boat makers, gunsmiths, blacksmiths. Bass pro’s website and boat manufacturing could be considered more product oriented in that they tend to be more focused on research and development as well as heavier marketing strategies. The E-business side of Bass focuses more on a support strategy allowing for the analysis of trends and data to drive marketing and operational processes. Bass Pro’s extensive diversity in product offerings allows them to develop multiple functional strategies for specific areas.

...ilm called “Kartoos” starring Sanjay Dutt as the lead actor in the film. For Mahmood Khan, this was just a beginning of a career filled with success and categorization as a mainstream artist. “Only One” brought the soundtracks of the album by Khan on hundreds of radio stations worldwide and his popularity amongst the Asians grew like never before.
fragmented by the interruptions of song and dance, lending a sense of unreality. I believe Mira Nair successfully achieved her aim to make a Bollywood film on her own terms. As a director, she effectively combined the techniques of sound, editing, costume, colour and location to produce a fairly unique Bollywood film. Her message of the continuing modernisation of India, and her criticisms of both the societies she illustrates in the film comes across clearly, as do the more controversial points she brings up that Bollywood, as a film industry, does not typically address. Its appeal and effectiveness can be measured by the huge range of global audiences it has attracted, both Western and Eastern, which indicates that she accomplished her goal of making a realistic movie, breaking the traditional Bollywood mould.
The romantic comedy, Today’s Special, expressed the worries of Indian parents becoming at ease. Also, expressed the struggles a parent faces in search of a better life, the passion and dedication going unnoticed in the work field, and the connection between friends, a lover, and family. However, the film centered its attention more on the development in Samir’s “cold” cooking within the Indian food, with the help of Akbar.
When someone asks me what marching band means to me, it’s very difficult to come up with a simple answer that everyone can understand. Marching band means belonging to something bigger and more worthwhile than just a “team”; It means having a stake in something that is a treasured part of both our school and our community. Even if it means going to bed feeling every muscle in my body ache and knowing I may wake up feeling worse, I always look forward to doing it all again the next day (and the next year). Marching band is a challenge that pushes the limits of my physical and emotional endurance in such a way that I can’t wait to come back for more because I know I will be a better person for it.
In the movie A Beautiful Mind, the description of schizophrenia is shown in many accurate ways. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) states that the symptoms of this disease are delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, or unorganized or catatonic behavior. People with schizophrenia are also socially withdrawn and awkward when in contact with other people. These traits of the sickness are shown in detail throughout the movie by way of the character John Nash’s struggle with the disease. Nash is a very intelligent professor but believes he is working with the government to foil a Soviet attack plot. Nash eventually goes onto win a Nobel Prize for one of his theories. The movie shows the effects of schizophrenia on not only one man, but also on the friends and family of the ill individual. Treatment is discussed but not to any great length due to him ignoring the doctor’s orders on medication. Overall the movie shows some very prevalent traits of the disease in great detail during certain parts of the film.
In the 1920s there was a growing interest in country music, and bluegrass was one of the genres in hillbilly music that caught the attention all over the country. Known for the unique guitar sound, religious and gentle ballads, and mountain singing practices, the Carter Family is considered to be one of the great representatives of the bluegrass music in the Appalachian region. Loved by the audience all over the country, they established a “standard” sound that people would expect from bluegrass music. Taking a deeper look into the genre, almost all of the bluegrass groups are formed by solely white people. Why there were no traces of other races in the region being involved in the music? As the listener could imagine on the good old days and pretty scenery depicted in the bluegrass ballads, very little details on the lives of the people living in the present were heard from the songs. Bluegrass music is not a genre that provides listeners a genuine image of the musical and social landscape of the Appalachian region, but the commercialized music genre that is created by the white Appalachian residents for the whites in the whole United State America using newly-developed broadcast and commercial recording technology.
Of all musical genres country music is perhaps the one most influenced by a male presence. Country music is often associated with the classic cowboy strumming a guitar around a campfire or riding his horse with a guitar strapped to his back. Even the politics of country music is inclined towards a male-dominated, republican, conservative, pro-war stance (Spong 184). The stereotypical women of country music “behave properly” and passively follow the same values as men do. Therefore, in 2003 when the Dixie Chicks, a three member all female country music band, became the top selling female group of all time it was quite an accomplishment. Their success began in 1997 with an image that embraced their versatility. Martie Maguire and Emily Robison, who are sisters, played fiddle and banjo and provided background vocals to lead vocalist Natalie Maines, gifted with a strong, clear voice. Maines stood out from the others with her forceful stage presence. They wore feminine, bling infused, non-countrified outfits. They were pretty to look at and kind of goofy in demeanor (129). The kind of young women fans could imagine having a lot of fun with, but also the kind that young women could identify with through their music. Songs like “Goodbye Earl” described a strong woman who has had enough of her abusive husband and ends up killing him. However, the band delivered it in a style that was far from morose. It sent a clear message of girl power for many women (129). Many accolades followed from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association (CMA) which included Entertainer of the Year, Top Vocal Group, and album of the Year (Towner 293). During the first five years of their career they sold 28 million copies of the three records...

The Rolling Stones are one of the most well known hard rock bands. They have a distinctive history that separates them from other similar rock bands. Their unique sound formed the basis of rock and roll. The band had a huge influence on British music through things such as their fashion, fusion of obscure genres, and attitude. Over the course of the last fifty years, The Rolling Stones unique history, sound, and overall look still has an influence on modern British bands.
In my interview I had the pleasure of conversing with an individual that was not only an adult learner but now also operates as an adjunct professor for adult learners at a university. Some might not realize the parallels of adult learners and yet still there are vast differences that impact both. It was refreshing to find an individual that was able to succeed as a professional, a student and most recently a professor at the same time. My goal is to introduce you my amazing interviewee and paint a vivid picture of his journey, his growth and through his challenges along the way. Surprisingly this interaction was able to take a lot of excuses and reasons of why a person would be to busy to go back to school.
the film have been cast as parts. It worked well for the film, but I
He made a name for himself with soft-spoken, romantic roles. Lately it seems like Salman Khan's mission in life is to prove what a very good actor that makes him.
