When we picked Roberto the immigration told me and Roberto "what were you guys thinking about coming here you could have gotten yourself killed". I just stayed silent the whole ride back. We arrived at the gate and papa and mama were waiting for us and then the immigration officer sent us away. So papa and mama started to worry if we even had enough money to even live in a house. "Mama can I help I can try to get a job". No mijo it would be to much pressure on you. Pa pa was out looking for a job but we told him no you cant your back but he refused. Roberto already found a job but it didn't pay well. I woke up early in the morning and got ready to go out and find a job I felt bad
going behind mama's back but if I find a really good job I would tell the every one and hopefully mama wont get made and make me quit. I found a job as a janitor in a place called MC Donald's it payed a decent amount but i don't know if it was enough. I told Roberto "hey reberto can you keep a secret?" "Yes why what is it about?" "So I went behind mama's back and got a job and it is a place called MC Donald's." "does it pay good" "well maybe it pays 3$ an hour" "well at least it pays better than me by 30¢ I'm sure mama and papa will be ok with it." "ok I will tell them at dinner but I need an excuse to go to work." The next morning I gave mama an excuse to go out. and then I came home and dinner was almost ready mama wondered "mijo what took you so long?" you just said you were just looking for food?" well I just might just say it I have a job at a place called MC Donald's it pays a little more than Roberto I hope this will help us out.
It has been too long since I last wrote to you, so I thought I would inform you on momentous events that happened in my life in the last little while. The previous time I heard from you was when Gabriel turned three. I can’t believe he is about to become a teenager now. My goodness, time flies by so fast. I was so ecstatic when I saw your prior letter arrive in my mail.
“I guess we need to come up with an excuse when we are asked the reason for the annulment.”
when I was ten years old I lost my grandpa, it was a very bad experience for me but it made me stronger. I remember when he taught me how to catch a baseball, ride a bike, mow the lawn and a lot of other things that I will forever cherish in my heart. the memory I will never forget though is when he taught me everything I needed to know about baseball. we would always go outside together and he would do certain agilities with me to build my stamina, teach me how to catch a pop-fly and he would work on pitching with me which is actually one of my main position that I play today. baseball was a big part of my grandpas life and he always wanted me to play In the major leagues. once he passed away my motives for playing in the major leagues increased.
Elise hastily rushed to her tent to tend her father, named Jarvan, because of a horrendous wound that was made from a plasma bullet. The wound was turned into a hole in the skin after the plasma instantly evaporated. It took several hours to stop the bleeding using a cloth. As Elise’s father was resting, she went to find some valuables that might have been with the dead body that she had killed. Unfortunately, the body was gone and she came back empty handed. As soon as Elise came back, my father and I talked about the missing body and the ways we can leave this foul planet.
I also don't own the idea, it was requested to me by the wonderful Amanda. Thank you so much! I hope I did this idea justice.
Fable —A deliberately false or improbable account, well, so says Merriam-Webster. Can a love story be a fable? Sure thing —not only did Roberto Benigni’s Life is Beautiful does not just fall into one genre, but into many. The remarkable film can be considered as a romantic comedy, a drama, but most of all, a fable—The story of a man, winning the heart of his “princess” and his own son.
Fortunately, contrary to what we had originally thought we were one of the few lucky ones. Our family stayed together and as immigrants, we continue to struggle through the many negative stigmas. This is not the ending to our story but simply a story of new beginnings in a foreign country. As my parents say frequently “America is the land of opportunity” and this is an opportunity I will hold tightly and never let

A young man by the name of Billy Weaver was reported missing this morning; he is seventeen years old. He stayed at the Bed and Breakfast last night and didn’t report to the office where he was suppose to be. Here is what Billy had to say. When we entered the Washington, D.C. airport, the airport security did admit us into the U.S and we celebrated this together. Since we had family in the U.S, we stayed with my uncle and my cousins for a couple of months. There, I spent the following months working on my American accent because in order to erase my heavy accent.
Yes, I threw a big tantrum like a baby, screaming, and crying. What made me look even worse was that my brother and sister were excited to move. I distinctly remember thinking I was losing everything; I was too young to realize the positive sides to moving. I can still recall the details of my “going away party” my friends had thrown for me. I was wearing my favorite hot pink swimsuit with blue polka dots; it was my favorite type of party, of course, a pool party. As I was walking up the hot pavement, I had no idea I was about to be at my party. I immediately was startled by a cluster of screaming from forty other girls and boys coming from behind the red bricked pool house. After all the cookie cake, soda pop, and presents, I was finally able to cope with moving. Perhaps moving to Texas would not be so awful after all, except for all the annoying country
The name is Francesco, also known as Francesco “The Menace” Venturella. Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a capo or what you would call a captain of the Genovese family.I had to clip some people, do some dirty work to be a capo. I have done many things that I am not proud of but they had to be done to keep order. I have dedicated my life to the Genovese Family and I would die for my brothers. All of my soldiers respect me, they are a bit scared of me, but most of all respect me. I have a wife and 3 children, 2 boys and a little girl. I have been with my wife, Angela, for over 20 years. My oldest son Marco is 18 now, about to turn 19 in 2 months, May 21st. My other son, Stefano, is 15 and he is a fierce one I tell you. Then there is my little angel, Isabella, she just turned ten last month. As a capo I have many responsibilities some of which are keeping my men in check, making money for the mafia, and reporting to the Don. I have made a lot of money for this mafia and i believe i am next in line to be Don.
