The poem “The Road Not Taken” is written by a good poet named Robert Frost. But before people are able to read and understand the poem. They must first know what poetry is. The question most people ask when reading poetry is what is Poetry? There are various languages for poetry, it is worldwide. People from the ancient times that are primeval have used poetry. Also people that are sophisticated have refined it. Poetry gives people pleasure. Poetry can be defined as the language that will say more and be a lot more intense than reading other books. In order to understand people need to understand what it says first. Poetry has different uses, just like certain languages people speak do to. Poetry is the hypothetical and semantic content. It primarily involves the oral or literary mechanisms in which the language is used in a style that is handled by the owner and its listeners to change from ordinary writing styles. Poetry has summarized or trampled form to transport emotions and ideas to the person that is reading or listening to the poem. During the poem people possibly will come across strategies such as assonance and repetition to accomplish melodic special effects. Poems normally depend on for their effect on imagery, word association, and the pleasing qualities. Poetry can be single out most of the time from the type of style. Which is the language that is meant to carry out the poetry in a vaster and less summarized way. Normally using more comprehensive practical or description arrangements than poetry carries out the language. This does not technically mean that poetry is unreasonable. It just means that poetry is frequently formed to get away from logic. People have to be willing to walk however far it takes to be with him. Some people take the short way because they do not want to work or they are not willing to do what it take to get closer to God. The poem could be named several things because the poem is about a person that is forced to make a choice between to roads. While at the intersection he has to pick which one he wants to go down or stand in the woods all night. The poem has a numerous amounts of symbols in it. While reading the poem people will start to see the symbols in it and it has to deal with making decisions. In life people are going to be forced to make decisions that could affect their life in the long run. A good example of making decisions is picking which college someone wants to go to.
