The metro reduces the use of cars and saves the environment from pollution of gas released from cars etc. Since the release of SALIK, it has been a success and has helped Dubai in many ways. It has reduced the traffic and especially during the morning road conjunctions. Every vehicle should have a SALIK tag especially if they are going to pass on roads where it is needed. There is a disadvantage we didn’t like about SALIK which is that if a person is going to pass the SALIK gate every day, this will cost him a lot and that’s why the RTA have launched the Dubai Metro . We hope to see more upcoming projects not only in Dubai but in all the emirates as it will help to control the traffic and protect people’s lives and to clean the environment.

In Houston, the transportation is very diverse, and a variety of ways such as: bus, car, train, taxi, and plane. People can easily move from one place to another place in an easy and fast condition. However, due to migrations have been increasing day by day quickly, and the situation of transportation has changes and challenges, so Houston‘s infrastructure of transportation are reduced quality. People are often stuck in traffic during rush hour, and the important routes. According to a new survey, over 500,000 people drive to work every day on major roads. For example, my friend Tom, he spends one hour to go to work and one hour to go back home every day. For this reason, people must take a lot of time on the way from home to the company and from the company to go back home. The transportation infrastructure is a huge influence in people's lives because people have to take a long time to drive, this may waste their time. The transportation need to continue development to serve people's lives
Billions of dollars have been spent on building the astonishing city of Dubai. Real estate construction worth billions of dollar is complete or is in the process of completion. It is a product of combined strategies of local businesses and innovative marketing. The projects include hotels, offices, entertainment complexes and huge shopping malls. The construction of landmark buildings and the city’s love for superlatives has placed it on the world’s property map. A big catalyst for the growth has been the government’s decision to allow expats to hold property in the city. But the sustainability of this growth remains an open question. (BAGAEEN, 2007)

Many employees in Dubai have a different opinion on how the Expo 2020 might affect the country. Abdulla Al Majeed, currently employed at Etisalat, argues how the Expo has its pros and cons. One benefit is that Dubai will have many foreign visitors which will cause the economy to bloom drastically. Dubai will have approximately 25 million visitors; therefore Dubai will make a large amount of money from all of these visitors. Another benefit is that it will provide approximately 270,000 new jobs in Dubai, as stated by the government of Dubai. While the Expo can be beneficial, one downside to it is that the traffic in Dubai will increase by a large amount. Since 25 million people will be visiting Dubai, all the roads will be packed.
